Remember Today - A Flair for Buttons

Morning.  Still wrapping up some Christmas layouts.  I will probably be doing it FOREVER!  Just last week I shared a layout on the A Flair for Button blog using the same papers by Basic Grey.  It document our trip to the North Pole Express.  Here is another layout that coordinates with that one.
This one has the creepy characters:o)

Head over to the AFB blog to check it out and to see what flair I used!

You are Joy - Fancy Pants

Good morning.....
I must say when the assignment over at Fancy Pants for the week was 'Quotes,' I had a really hard time.  Not because I couldn't  think of anything, it was because I thought of too many things!  My boys (one being my adult husband) have a natural ability to quote movie scenes.  You can thank me that I did not decide on a Napoleon Dynamite line!  On the other hand, my husband and I (mostly me) often break out in song when someone says something that sounds like a song we know.  This can be very irritating to some, just ask my son.   I decided on something a little more mature:o)  My title, comes from one of my favorite songs we sing at church, Forever Reign.

I really hope you will stop over to the Fancy Pants blog and take a look at my completely layout, my title or quote and my photo.  It will be worth it.

January Planner - mambi

I am over on the mambi blog today.  This is how I decorated my January cover for my planner.  I must tell you that I change this our every month.  This month, it is usually snowy and cold around these parts.  Not this year.  So, for this planner spread, I am wishing for snow:o)  Don't have me if you live near me:o)  My boy wants to get out and play in it.  Plus, he may be hoping for a snow day for two.

All of the product are from mambi, me & my BIG ideas.  The base is The Happy Planner™.   The only thing that is not mambi, the cute snowflake and snowman.  They are exclusive PaperPOPs from Paper Issues.  My friend Jen Chesnick makes them and has a store of her own called Parker on the Porch.  Hence the name, PaperPOP.  Cute huh?  I attached them with a glue dot on a magnetic paperclip.

Thank you so much for stopping by here today.

You are my Happy - Paper Issues

Hello there!

I started this layout with a bunch of tiny photos.  Mostly because I look horrible in them but also because the quality of most selfie photos are not great if you enlarge them too much.

The story behind these crazy photos is......my boy was trying to make my husband mad.  He was away at the time and Bub wanted him to see he was sleeping in his bed and so was the dog!  I really needed coffee at this point.  I remember it being early.

Over on the Paper Issues blog today, the team is using different FREE printable on our projects.  One of our talented designers on the team creates a free printable every month.  These are always free and always available to anyone.  Lets look at the one I used.

Here is my layout using this June FREE printable.  You can go HERE to take a look at all the FREE printables.  You can download them all at once if you want.  Add them to the cart and check to for free.

You can see that I cut up the printable.

I used several of the Seven Paper's from the Paper Issues store.  Go HERE to check them out.
Use my code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire order.

LOVE - Paper Issues

The PI team is spotlighting Bella Blvd today on the Paper Issues blog.  You will have to stop over and see all the different ways the same project can be used.  It is super fun.  Here is my take, using Bella Blvd's Valentina Collection.

I am the third wheel.  No doubt about that.  I am never in the middle, always left with an empty hand.    These boys are always holding hands, touching or just plain hanging out together.  They love me, I think:o)

Anyway, take a look at my layout while I close myself in the bathroom and have a pity party!

Grab this collection to document your true love.  Matter of fact, grab anything in the STORE
for 20% with code: Mary-Ann.

January Java Journal Day 11- Paper Issues

One of my favorite new ideas over at Paper Issues, is the January Java Journal.  This super cute journal is from Dear Lizzy and the frenchie, well that is a custom Planner band from Parker on the Porch.  I decided to keep my cover of the journal empty.  Only embellished with the band.

You can play along too.  Upload your journaling to the Paper Issues FB post HERE.

So, it is day 11 of the JJJ.  I chose to document "ways to serve others."
There are so many ways to incorporate this into your life.  Some very very simple.

This journal is really making me think about my life.  Not resolutions or goals but wishes for myself. Ways I can improve and possible help others along the way.  I hope you will join us.  You can use any product you want.  ANYTHING GOES!

Wookie - Paper Issues

Join the Paper Issues team as we create with an amazing sketch by Amy Close.  I used Studio Calico Seven Papers as the base and flair from A Flair for Buttons.  Most of the small bits and pieces came from the Remember December Swag Bag from Paper Issues.

My boy received this amazing Wookie suit for Christmas.  In the second photo, he was actually making the wookie noise, sort of!  ha.  It was so much fun.  It makes him hot and he gets grumpy but he looks so darn cute in it.  I think I want one for myself.

Here is the sketch!

This is the tag that came off of the suite.  We ripped it off but then I realized that I wanted it for the layout.  Wouldn't you?  I tucked it right in the pocket behind the photos with his head peeking out.

Don't forget to use my code: Mary-Ann over at Paper Issues to receive 20% off your entire order.  Orders over $65 get free shipping too.
