Ketchup - Paper Issues

Although I have not shared much of our trip to Disney from May, it has not been far from my mind.   I think I will be scrapping it a little at a time as the mood strikes and as the product inspires!  One of the highlights of our trip was dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe'.  It was not entirely what we expected but none the less, a great time.  At one point during our meal, there were 19 bottles of ketchup surrounding Roman.  Read the journaling for the details.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that this layout is over at Paper Issues today.  I used Elle's Studio - Let's Eat collection that I purchased in the store HERE.
You can too, and save 20% by adding my code: Mary-Ann.

Did you notice the flair that help emphasis my point?  You can purchase that over at
A Flair for Buttons.  Shelley has so many cool sets of flair for whatever your style is.

Ok, go to the PI STORE now to get this super cool collection.  Thanks for stopping by.

Happiness - Paper Issues

Paper Issues has a Swag Bag which includes small pieces of bits and pieces.  It is pure joy and makes a layout come together so easy for me.  Over on the Paper Issues blog today, Meaghen Clader is showcasing these little bags.  She has asked designers to help her share with you, how truly versatile these can be.  So head over to the blog and see what other Designers have created.  You will be grabbing one for yourself.  If you do, use code: Mary-Ann to receive 20% off everything you buy.

Everything except the large 12x12 cardstock came in this Swag Bag.  Here is a look at what is in the bag.  No two bags are exactly the same, which is super fun.  If you want this one, there are a couple left, go HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Camping Planner - mambi

Good morning planner peeps!  This may be my last post with you all.  I head to the deep woods of Maine, where the black bear roam.  I covered my gray hair in case of a bear attack so at least that will look good at my viewing!  We go camping every year, to the same place, with the same people at the same camp site.  We have seen bear, so I know they are watching me!  This year, I decided to document my families activities for each day.  The hours of hiking may vary depending on weather and our current body condition, but for the most part, I have it down to a t!  Most nights, we have a fun snack and go looking for moose at the near by lakes.  We call it moose hunting, but trust me, only cameras are involved.  Along with planning our activities, I also used the meal planner, to make sure everything is thought out in advance.  The grocery list is perfect too!   Both planners will be lying on my picnic table!  I can assure you they will be the only pretty things in a 5 mile radius!  Especially 5-6 days into the trip.  Wish me luck folks and hope I hope that you are inspired to plan out your vacation activities.

It has been fun.  Pray for me.  Pray that I can at least out run one person:o)  Just kidding.

Love This Man - A Flair for Buttons

I want to share a layout I created, honoring and expressing my love for this man.  My husband.  My son's father.  Of all the things my husband does, he is best at being a father.  He and my boy are so very tight and are inseparable.  They love each other to the moon and back, and back to the moon, then back again, 5 gazillion times twice!  I decided that it was a great time for this layout with Father's Day fast approaching.  For those of you that forgot, it is this Sunday, you better get busy!

This layout is over on the A Flair for Button Blog today.  Please stop over and say hello.

Couch Potatoes - Paper Camellia

This leopard mink blanket can put my son and husband to sleep in a matter of minutes.  If left on the couch, its like a magnet for my dog.  It warms us in the extreme cold and makes us feel better when we are sick.  Maybe I should have named this layout differently, ha!  Anyway, for this August photo, the air-conditioning must have been a tad bit cold for my lazy boy and sleepy dog.

Today this layout is over on the Paper Camellia Blog.  I actually used a design from church for my layout inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Birthday/Anniversary Planner - mambi

If you are anything like me, you have many people important people in your life.  People you want to remember on special occasions, maybe birthdays and anniversaries.  I decided to take just the monthly sections of each month (not the weekly) to create a mini Birthday/Anniversary planner.  You can add a folder for each month to contain the birthday cards you have made or purchased to send to your family and friends.  Or, you could just keeping moving the folder to the month you are in to hold the cards.  This way, your folders can be used in your everyday planner for special keepsakes.

For this June Planner Spread, I started with the rainbow washi tape as a jumping point.  I brought in bright colored mambiSTICKS to adorn my page.  I added a few mambiSHAPES and mambiBANNERS too since the colors matched my theme.  Essentially, I used several mambi products that I had on hand that were not specifically made for the planners.  Why not!

Get organized people and this mambi planner is the perfect assistant!
Head over to mambi to see more items or head to the Paper Issues Shop and purchase from them.  Use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your order.

Let's Celebrate - TRC

I created a quick and simple card that can be replicated for a party or a picnic in the park.  It is over on The Rubber Cafe blog today.  Head over there for the link to purchase this card kit for yourself!

Parade - Paper Camellia

Hi there!  I am sharing this bright colorful layout over at Paper Camellia today.  It was so fun to make with the circles, pictures, clowns and boys!  It is from 2013.  Another pretty fun event that I happened to skip for no reason.  It has been fun, looking through the older pictures and creating with them recently.  I guess forgetting is not such a bad thing after all.

GO HERE to see closeups of the layout.

You're a Whole Lot of Lovely - Paper Issues

I never scrapbooked my trip from Niagara Falls from 2010.  Well, thought it might be time!
We do not look pretty folks!  We are wet from the mist, can not see out of our glasses and my hair has static like its nobody's business!  Despite all of that, it was so much fun.  The energy that comes from that place is incredible.  It is hard to image.  Even hard to explain how completely amazing seeing something like this is.

So, over at Paper Issues, every month the offer a sketch (Sketchy Saturday) to help inspire and get the mojo flowing.  This month, they have based their sketch off of a super amazingly talented layout from Sasha Farina.

Here is my take on the sketch!

I used the May Swag Bag from Paper Issues for this project.  It had the perfect pieces for the sketch and for my photos.

So, here is the original layout by Sasha.

Here is the sketch!  Pretty awesome right?

If you love it, then you have until July 4th to link up for a chance to win a prize!!!
