Fox - Paper Issues

Morning friends!
It is my turn on the Paper Issues blog and I was given a choice of creating a #52 Friday Favorites or using a FREE File Free-for-All.  I decided to use 2 FREE cut files.
Did you know, when you all PI cut files are free?  Also, when you download a cut file, there are often more images to cut than what is shown on the advertised photo?  Its true.  Download one of these to see.

I used Echo Park Perfect Autumn that I grabbed from the store.

Halloween Boys - Paper Issues

Hey there!
Do you love going to crops?  Ever think about joining an online crop?  Everything you need is with you in your craft room, and you can create and chat all at the same time from the comfort of your pjs!  Win win if you ask me.  This weekend, Paper Issues is having an online crop.  Go to......Paper Issues Friends and Fans, Fall Crop to play along.  There are prizes to be won and lots of inspiration.  I am not even sure how many challenges there are but I know there are a ton.

I am playing along with the "Playing with Patterns" challenge.  You can use a dress pattern, mix up different pattern papers, or anything with a fun pattern that you find.

I decided to mix a gazillion patterns on one layout.  I used the October Uma Thurman kit.  I really need to get my Halloween photos documented.

The Amazing A Team - Queen & Co.

Good morning!
Today I am on the Queen and Company blog.
Ever pull something together that seems completely different but really works?  I feel I did that on this football layout.  The stars are an obvious choice but the color palette is the question.  If you look closely at my photos, they were taken in the fall of 2017.  So, I wanted to focus on the colorful background of the photos and not necessarily the bright blue of the uniforms.  Using the Happy Harvest Fall Paper pad from Queen and Company, and it helped me do just that.  I pieced together 2 - 6 inch strips of paper with the seams falling behind my photos.  This allowed me to have longer papers.
I then filled some of the Stars Shaped Shakers with Pearls Neutral Toppings and Wood Toppings.
I pieced together a title for my layout with the Word Dies and some old Thickers I had from long ago.
To emphasize the word amazing, I cut scrap white cardstock several times and carefully layered them on top of each other.  I then finished it with a yellow layer on top.  Making it thicker and almost like it has a shadow effect.
Thanks for stopping in today.  I hope you are inspired to create with our Shaped Shaker kits and word Dies.

Turkey Day - Technique Tuesday

Hey there.
I was really excited to be asked by Technique Tuesday to create a layout with the new Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set and Turkey and Pie Crafting Dies.  Both items are under the New Product Category.  They are darling.  There are so many fall option, and now Christmas options.  You just go see.  Especially if you are a card maker or like to add stamping to your layouts.  Their dies are pretty cute too.

Here is what I created...  In my mind, I was trying to create a plate.  Not quite what I was thinking but I still like the circle ides.  The papers and ephemera are from Carta Bella and I grabbed those from Paper Issues.  Grab anything from PI for 20% off with my code: Mary-Ann.

Scream - Paper Issues

Did you know that Paper Issues is now designing a monthly kit?
Kits are so easy.  Everything that coordinates and works well together all in a bag that can be carried to a crop or a friends house.  Easy peasy.

Here is the monthly kit for October called Uma Thurman.

I needed the scream mask 3x4 so I had to have the kit!  lol.  I loved the rest too but man, Really needed that mask.  Here is what I created.  I played along with the You've got to be Kittin' Me challenge.  There are so many each month.  Go check out Novembers challenges.
