Dental Work - Paper Issues

Traveling to Maine Nov. 2013, I turned around and saw Roman all up in Flo's mouth.  She was little, he was little and all I could think of was maybe one day, he will be a dentist.  To this day, this kid can do whatever she wants to that dog and she takes it.  Poor baby girl.

To document my layout, I used a Swag Bag from Paper Issues.  I played along with the challenge to use the Feb bag.  It has little bits and pieces of current product, that can be mixed and matched to create a project.  I just the bright yellow bag and trimmed it into a circle as a large sheet of paper.  Everything else you see is from the Swag Bag except the 12x12 paper and the title.

Can you imagine if I didn't have a girl dog??  I would be out of luck with all the fun girl things.

Meow - Paper Issues and A Flair for Buttons

MEOW!
It is true, A House in Not a Home Without a Cat!
Look at this sexy beast!  He was only with us 10 days when he decided to pose like a star!
We just love him.

I scrap-lifted a layout over at Paper Issues.  It is a challenge that you can participate in too.  Go HERE to see the original layout and check out how others have created off of the lift.  It is a great starting point for inspiration.  I promise.

I used Simple Stories Life is Purrfect.  Go grab whatever you need from the Paper Issues store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
I accented the layout with the perfect flair from A Flair for Buttons.

Favorite Adventures - Fancy Pants

Our Favorite people abandoned us.  Yup.
The moved away with military orders and moved closer to family.
They just up and left.  It is hard to find friends like them.  We did have the pleasure of wandering around with them.  We took a trip into Boston for the day for this layout,  The kids were really young.

For my layout, I sued Take Note from Fancy Pants.  You can grab it from the Make A Pretty Life Store if you NEED it!  lol

I created a faux cork board with the papers and hung my photos like you would on an actual board.
I clustered old tags and bits of scrap papers to bring it all together.  My fave is the little worm at the bottom!

Snow - Pretty Little Studio

Today is my final day over at Pretty Little Studio as the February guest designer.
I have had so much fun working with their product.  I love the shine that some of their papers have, the colors and the quality.  You will really love it all too.

For my final layout, I created a frame for my photos with a forest clump off to the right.

Thank you for your visits throughout the last week.  I do appreciate you all.

Memories - Pretty Little Studio

Day 3 with Pretty Little Studio!!!

I started with another one of the amazing vintage character, Clark.  Well, how could I not use these cute photos of my little man playing for the Indians!  This was his first year playing t-ball.

Pulling the perfect colors out of the Ain't Life Grand collection makes the photos and Clark, pop.  I used the Shutterbug Stickers to carry on the round baseball theme.
I journaled directly on the 12x12 paper.
Thanks for stopping by again today!

Pats vs Dolphins - Pretty Little Studio

It's day 2 of my adventure over at Pretty Little Studio!
For today, I was inspired by the little vintage Freedie Football.  They have several vintage style people that are super adorable.  They match really well with all of their collections too.

I used Ain't Life Grand for this football layout.
I picked out all the blues, black and touches of green that I could find.

There is a really good story behind this photo, be sure to read the journaling!

Beautiful - Pretty Little Studio

Good morning!
It is so exciting to receive an unexpected remaining asking if you wanna be a guest designer!
I received just that from Pretty Little Studio.
They have the most darling collections.
You will see, for the next four days, I will be all over their blog/social media.

They were extremely generous with their product.
I thought it was going to be a challenge for me to use 8x8 papers.
It was so very easy.  I realistically don't use the entire sheets of 12 x 12 anyway.
Lets look at what I have done for today....

By dear chum and I meet for lunch and shopping on occasion.  Not as often as we would like.  We snapped these fun photos of us laughing at ourselves so hard!

I used the Tales and Dreams collection for this bright, cheerful project.

Memories - Paper Issues and A Flair for Buttons

Morning!

Take a look at the excited mama!!!  I was more excited than Roman when he received Student of the Month last year in 6th grade.  He received a homework pass and never used it!  oops.  This boy keeps impressing me.

I am killing two birds with one big stone here.  I used A Flair for Buttons flair on a really fun layout for Paper Issues.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to play with the Scraplift challenge or the Bigger is Better challenge.  I lifted it and used a big title!  I decided on the Bigger is Better challenge because I have never played along with that before.  It is super fun,  All you do is....

-Grab those giant chipboard words, Fire up those cutting machines, use those LARGE Stickers and create a BIG Title on your page! Any subject, any paper project type.

You have until March 4th to enter a project based on this challenge. Please keep in mind this must be a NEW made for this challenge project.-

Add some fun flair from the A Flair for Buttons ETSY shop.

I used Photoplay - Boys Rule from the Paper Issues store.  Grab it or anything else from there for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.  You can use the code anytime.

Love You - Fancy Pants

This boy has my heart.
Just look bath his expressions.  He brings joy to our home every single day.
At the time of these photos, he was 5.  Now he is 12, almost 13 and he's not a baby anymore.  However, he is still my baby.  Always will be.  I'll be buying the house next door, digging a tunnel and we will meet in the middle every night to kiss good night.
All you haters - don't comment cause its true!!!

Anyway, how could I just pick one photo to document?
You can see why I couldn't, right?
I used Fancy Pants Sweet Nothings collection and it was perfect for document my love!!!

Anyway, go grab it from Make A Pretty Life store!

Summer - Paper Issues

Morning!

Welcome to February and welcome to big changes over at Paper Issues.
One of the changes that will happen is that PI will be collaborating with different partners.
For this month, they have teamed up with CSI: Colors, Stories, Inspiration.  They do some serious challenges.  They encourage you to tell your story through color inspiration, prompts and lists.
In a style like non-other.  They do an investigative type challenge.  If you love Law and Order, CSI and all those detective like shows, you're gonna LOVE this!

Its hard to explain, just go see>>> CSI

First, here is my take on this months Case File No. 247!  (this is fun)
I used: Pink Paislee - Summer Lights Collection from the Paper Issues shop.  Grab it or anything else for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Play along HERE!

So here is the challenge info.  I was inspired by the colors.  The fact that she was on a beach near water.  I chose SOLID WHITE BACKGROUND from the Evidence category.  From Testimony I chose to DOCUMENT A SUMMER STORY. One of the Inspiration words was LAUGH.  If you look close, Roman has the biggest smile on his face.  He was having a ball.
