Fall Harvest - Paper Issues - Crop

Good morning!
Time to wake up and participate in some, if not all of the fun challenges over at the Paper Issues Fall Crop.  Now, 10:00am, is my time for a challenge.  I have challenged you, and all other scrappers, to create a layout using the amazing Swag Bag.  Only offered over on the PI store.  It contains lots of bits and pieces of the most current product available.

The catch is, you can only use one, uno, 1, sheet of 12x12 paper to accompany your Swag Bag layout.  You can mix and match bags or use only one, that part is up to you.

Here is what I created.

Grab a Swag Bag or anything else you need from the store with code: Mary-Ann for 20% off.

Grateful - Paper Issues

Every month, Paper Issues offers a FREE printable.
They have asked the design team to come together and show you different ways in which you could use these FREE printable

I decided to fussy cut the fox and use him on the bottom right of my layout.

This is my boy, 5 years ago.  Playing with his bow and arrow with his Thanksgiving hat he made at school.  If you look close, he may have tattoos and listen closely to hear his battle cry!

Isn't he cute? My boy and the fox!
Go HERE to see all the FREE printable that PI has offered over the months.

I used Pink Paislee Cedar Lane collection.
Grab it or anything else you need from the store with code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire order.

#RAD - Simple Stories Spotlight - Paper Issues

By now you should have figured out that Paper Issues does a Product Spotlight pretty often.  They ask their team to create projects with one specific collection, see how we all interpret it differently and share it all with their viewers.  It is pretty fun.  You will have to go HERE to see what  the other members have created with this months collection:  So RAD by Simple Stories.
Having a boy makes this collection right up my alley!

Since they only share the entire l about, I thought I would include closeups of my project over here for you.   Don't you love the cork paper?  I do!

Did you notice the PI PaperPOP?  This bottle of glue is from the set called Sniffy McGlue!

See you again soon.

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner - Paper Issues

I know that I post tons of layouts for Paper Issues here.
You just gotta know how much I love all the ides and inspiration that flows from that place.
They have a FREE cut file each month, Issues that you can participate in to have a chance to win prizes and a FREE printable.  Which leads me to this post.
When I saw the "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" I KNEW exactly what I was going to do.

This is Flo.  Our Frenchie person.  Or so we all think.
She is standing with her nose in the pantry were we keep the treats.  She will stay like this until you see her or leave the room.  She does not whine.  Does not bark.  She waits.  Silently as you walk by her.  Hoping and probably praying that you'll open the door and give her a snack.
It is pathetic, truly it is.

Go HERE to get your free printable from the Paper Issues Store.
Go HERE if you want to buy all the amazing Crate Paper Wonder collection.  If there is any left, I think I may have bought it all.

Use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire order.

Planner Spotlight - Paper Issues

Today is a fun team up with some of the ladies over at the Paper Issues blog.  We are all trying to share different ways to use our various planners.

My point is, you can use anything you want in a planner.  ANYTHING!  For next week, I don't have a ton on my schedule so I decided to pick out a few things that I have been setting aside, to make sure that I used them on next weeks projects.  Using decorative bobby pins and/or paperclips attach your items in a temporary way.
I love the lavender and purple colors for July in my The Happy Planner by mambi (me & my BIG ideas.)  Since I am wearing purple shirt today, why not go for pink, purple and turquoise embellishments for my upcoming projects?

Oh my, that crooked banner paperclip is going to drive me nuts!  I have three different clumpings.  Each are for different projects.  I am going to use ephemera and  bobby pins  from Crate Paper.  Washi tapes.  Tags from American Crafts and grey ones from the PI store.  Heidi Swapp Paperclips.  Best thing here, is the little doilies from the PI store.  They usually come in sets of 75 but Cassie has
graciously  broken them up into sets that include a tiny bit from each color.  Who wants 75 of one color anyway?

Then I started to embellish my pages as things started to fill in.

So, grab all the little things that you LOVE and have to have.  It does not have to coordinate with anything else you buy.  Throw these things into your planner.  Grab washi tapes and paper clips while your at it.  You won't be sorry.  It will take your planner to a completely different level.

When you get that shopping card full of goodies, use my code:  Mary-Ann for 20% off everything you purchase.
