Catch 'em - Paper Issues

Morning.  I feel like it has been a while since I have been around here.  I have been busy with vacations, changing things around the house and everything else that you can think of.

But, I am super excited to share this fun layout with you today.
It is of my boy when he was 8 and played for the Knights.
He thought he was a great catcher.  He was so adorable.  They all were.  Every time the pitch started coming, he would stand.  We were afraid that he was going to get hit in the head with the bat.  He did a great job and I am super glad I captured this memory.
Oh, and Big League Chew bubble gum was all the rage!  Lots of us parents provided the boys with a never ending supply of gum.

Play Balllllllll! Or watch people play. That counts too! We encourage you to grab those baseball themed photos and get them in the books. Not a ball fan, how about Field Day activities, team work, or stitching. Be creative, because we bet you hit a home run!

You have through April 30th to play along. Your entry must be new and no double dipping! That means, you can only submit each project once.

I used Doodlebug Dragon Tails from Paper Issues.  I also combined a few Green Lollies and Rivets from Queen and Company.

I chose everything on the right.  Since I was in  charge of making the list, I kept everything I chose on that side.  I used Crate Paper Oasis from the Paper Issues store.  Go grab it for 20% off when you use code: Mary-Ann.

Nut Jobs - Paper Issues

What!!! It is easier than you think. Be daring and use patterned paper for every thing!
No solid colors people. None.

You have through April 30th to play along. Your entry must be new and no double dipping! That means, you can only submit each project once.  Enter this challenge HERE.

Come on, you can do it!  I did.  You can use a delicate patterned paper for the background if that helps.  I played along using Doodlebug Down on the Farm. I must say, the Doodle Pops are my all time fave.

I Learned Snapchat - Fancy Pants

Morning!

I am excited to back with Fancy Pants for another term.  I hope that you will continue to be inspired by what I create with the FP product and with the other girls on the team.  It is a fun place to be!
I have been crafting since I was a child. Macaroni art with my mom, the girl scout leader and my own style of traditional scrapbooking all through high school.  I started to really incorporating pretty papers and embellishments in 2000.  5 years before my boy was born.  Being married to a Marine, we had plenty of memories and stories that I needed to document.  I have enjoyed myself ever since.
For this post, I created a silly layout about Snapchat.  I recently discovered how to actually use the app.  (I was schooled by a teenager!)  My son HATES when I capture him with the different filters but I think it is so much fun.  You can see in one of these photos that I am seriously laughing.  It is a hoot.
