Imagine - Paper Issues

 Friends!

Look at my little space man!  How cute is he with his daddy at Disney riding the rides.
I just love his little face.  I didn't want to do all Disney themes papers so I went with Bella Blvd's To The Moon collection that I bought over at Paper Issues.  Grab it for 20% off using code: Mary-Ann.

The base paper is from Vicki Boutin and is already pre-colored for me.
It was another Live FB video if you want to watch!

Paradise - Paper Issues

Hey friends.  I've been out kissing dolphins.

Not really.  This was last year.  But I was kissing dolphins, seals and seal lions.  I had a ball.  Probably more fun than my fam cause I love animals so much.  I think Roman has my animal loving heart too.  He is super kind.  Anywho, I am here to share a layout for Paper Issues - Free File Feature.  For this feature, a few of us used the same cut file - Geometric Hexagon.  ALL of the cut files over at Paper Issues are FREE!  Download them all if you want.  May take a minute or two but I highly recommend it.

Here is what I created.  I used Bella Blvd Island Escape and a few other things too.

I used the Geometric Cut File as is.  I used the center of the hexagon as a template to cut my photo so it would be in the same shape for the center of the layout.  I cut triangles from random papers in the collection.

Here is my layout and under that is the cut file!

Friend - Paper Issues

Hey Friends.

Monday, four crafters from Paper Issues got together on a Live Zoom in Paper Issues Friends and Fans group and create layouts with the same kit.  The challenge was Nothin But the Kitchen Sink.  You have to use EVERYTHING included in the kit.  It was really really amazing to see how all of us came up with completely different looks.  No 2 kits are the exact same.  The ephemera may differ or some of the cut files in this challenge were different.  But three of us had the same file and we were nothing alike!  Go check it out HERE.
Go to Paper Issues and use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off everything.  ALL Cut Files are FREE.  Always.

Here is my take on the challenge.  Below is the kit.

Rock the World - Paper Issues

I did another LIVE scrapbooking video over at Paper Issues.
I thought that I would gather random items that coordinate instead of a collection that already matched.  It was really a lot of fun.  I don't think I have done that in a really long time.  I also used a plate to cut a big circle!
I did use some Amy Tangerine, Shimelle and Bella Blvd.
Grab what you need from the Paper Issues Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
Download a gazillion FREE cut files while your there.

This photo of my boy getting his training wheels off his bike.  I swear, he would still have them on to this day if we let him.  He is not one to be off his own feet.  As a matter of fact, the last time he was on a bike, he fell off and broke his wrist.  It has been a couple years since he has even attempted to get on one.  Wonder how he is going to teach his own kids??

Head over to Paper Issues Friends and Fan Facebook page to get notified when there are LIVE scrapping videos coming up, what challenges they have and loads of inspiration too.
In my video, you seriously enter my head.  I tell you everything I am thinking. How I use the dinosaur as the Loch Ness monster.  The circle of fish as the ocean.  Bugs and spiders cause they hang out near water.  So, in the end, I'm not sure if its the ocean or a lake but who cares!  It is all perfect!

By the Pool - Paper Issues

Hey guys!
Thanks for popping in today.
I'm sharing a layout I created for Paper Issues 'Fold it Right There' challenge.
Create a fold on a page.  Easy peasy.  I just folded my corner of my paper and stuck flip flops underneath like it was a towel  on the sand!

The layout is from last summer when a few friends came over to hang by the pool.
I used Bella Blvd Spash Zone for the papers and embellishments.

Shop over at the Paper Issues Store and get 20% off everything with code: Mary-Ann.

Cub Scout Color Guard - Paper Issues!

Hey there!
Today I am playing along with the Pinspire Me July Challenge over on our Paper Issues Friends and Fans page.   Below is the image that is provided, hoping that you are inspired to create!  I was inspired because of the stars, and of course because my assignment was on the 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day friends!
For my layout, I used Bella Blvd Fireworks and Freedom.
I used it for a Color Guard page of my boy when he was a Cub Scout.
I also made use of the NEW FREE cut file made by Stacie.  It is available in the PI shop!

Everything you need for crafting can be purchased through the
PI store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Happy Shopping.

Science Badge - Paper Issues

October has some fun challenges over at Paper Issues.
I played along with Scrap Soup.
All of the challenge for October can be found on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans FB page.

I used Bella Blvd Pop Quiz for this Chemistry layout.
My neighbor is a Chemist and we asked him to come over and teach the
cub scouts how to do a few tricks.

Funny Farm - A Flair for Buttons

Good morning.

These boys are crazy together.  Doesn't help that Randy will buy them CANDY cigarettes.  We were in PA, to meet the boys and pick them up.  In a fun little market, in the center of Philly, they had a candy store with all the candy we used to have when we were kids.   Including these fun candies.

I really wanted to play with the Bella Blvd Barnyard collection.  They were perfect with the photo and flair that I had selected.  You can get it from Paper Issues for 20% off with Code: Mary-Ann.

So, I am on the A Flair for Buttons Blog today.  Using the perfect flair to help highlight the craziness of these memories.  Go HERE to see all of Shelley's fun flair!

Best Crew Ever and Whale Watching - Queen & Co.

I hope you will join me on the Queen and Company blog today.  I am sharing two different layouts with their Foam Front Shaker sets.  Although these Foam Fronts were designed for cards, they can be used on Layout's as well.

I loved the idea of our Whale Watching trip from 2012.  It was our last excursion of the weekend before school started.  I used watercolor paper and some paint to get the whole splashing water effect.    For all the fun items I used, head over to the Q&C blog.

For my second layout, I used a bunch of leftover Crate Paper to show that you can also use patterned papers with the Foam Fronts.  Here I used the Solo Heart Foam Front.

We were in Texas when I took this photo of my favorite boys.
I love Bub's shirt!  He wasn't grumpy, the sun was in his eyes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Head to the Q&C blog to see the rest!

Corny - Paper Issues

Did you know that ALL of Paper Issues cut files are FREE?
Yup, every single one.
I used the cut file from the store that was created for the PI Spring Crop. It is called Magic Unicorn.
The challenge is called Cut The Crop.  you can use any cut from the store or any printable that is there.

For the paper, I used Bella Blvd Addison.  Also, available in the
PI Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

I Can't Even Stand It - Paper Issues

What do I even need to say?

This photo has to be the best photo in history.  Right?  My girl usually stays clear of the pool.  This is not a common sight.  But my boy in the pool, that is all the time!!

I created this layout for the fun Spring Crop over at Paper Issues.
It is for the Around The Bend Challenge.  You are supposed to journal around your photo or page,  Instead, I did a title around the port hole!  It kinda fits!!!

I used Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea collection.  It is available over at Paper Issues for 20% off using code: Mary-Ann.

Brave - A Flair for Buttons

Here is my boy pitching for the first time last season.  His first few pitches were great!
He has a great arm, just needs help with precision.  This year he is thinking about football.
Sigh.  I just don't know if I can handle that.

So, I was low on both Bella Blvd Alex and Crate Paper Cool Kid.
I combined them both to create this layout.
I also used four different sets of flair from A Flair for Buttons on this project.
They all blend together perfectly.
You can see where you can get this flair over on the A Flair for Buttons blog today!

Target - Paper Issues

I decided to play along with Becky Stidhams's large title challenge for the Paper Issues Crop that is happening this weekend.  You have one week (until Sunday the 20th) to submit all 15 challenges and winner will be announced on Monday the 21st.

I used Alex by Bella Blvd, a cut file from Just Nick Studios and acrylic Pokemon pieces from Colorcast Design.  Target really did good when they painted their red cements balls out front to resemble Pokemon Pokeballs.  They only last a few weeks but we were sure to make our way their for this photo opt!
