Santa Parade - Fancy Pants

The Santa Parade is a big hit every year.  We have walked in it and watched it for years.  Last year, all the kids bought red santa poop emoji hats.  They had a blast.  Bub's is now his topper for the tree in his room.

I used Fancy Pants Holiday Hustle to create this layout.
You can grab it from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Head over to the Fancy Pants blog for more info.

Today - Paper Issues

Morning.  Happy Sunday.
It is Scraplift Sunday over on the Paper Issues Blog
I love this challenge because it gives you a jumping off point for a new layout.
Instead of circles, I chose to do squares.

I decided to use Sweater Weather from American Crafts.  SO FUN and perfect for snowy day photos from last year.  We have barely had any snow yet this year and it is mid Dec.  Strange!

I do love all white snowy photos.  I adore the boy in them!

My poor Boy! - Queen & Company

Morning and welcome to a glorious Sunday morning!
It snowed her last night and the ground is covered in white.  Its beautiful.  But so is lots of color!  Have you seen the What's New section of the website?  Have you seen that the Washi Tape Bundle, normally $19.95 is now $6.95??  Also, the Holiday Binder Bundle gives you LOTS and LOTS of embellishments for a ridiculously low price.

Like my last layout I did for Queen, I applied lots of Washi to my white base for color and pizazz!  I chose colors from the photo to use as the base.
It is bright.  But it is fun too!

Thanks for stopping in.
Head over to Queen & Co. and give it a look over.
Be sure to read my journaling on the page.  Poor kid.

URANUS - Fancy Pants

URANUS, the planet people!!  Not the other uranus.
My boy chose this topic himself.  He's a boy, given a choice, what else would he have picked?

Off to the craft store we went.  Got creative with the rings and messy with the paint.
Overall, he did a great great job.

I used Fancy Pants Take Note with a little Good Fellows and Sweet Nothings to finish it off.
I love the A+ pieces in the collection.  It is all over on the Fancy Pants blog!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Never Too Old - Paper Issues

Meet me over on the Paper Issues blog and see the Scraplift Sunday Layout, and how the team lifted from it.

Bub was 10 years old, we passed a Build-a-bear and saw the minion.  We had to stop.  He loved the movie, so the minion was perfect.  I believe, you are never too old for a stuffie.  He named it Bob and we took him to Maine for the weekend too.  He helped drive and hid our dog so she could nap!  lol

I used Carta Bella Toy Box.  Its so fun, perfect for all things boy and boy toys.
Grab it from the Paper Issues shop for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Good Times - Paper Issues

Sometimes the crazies over at Paper Issues decide to throw an impromptu crop.
This weekend happens to be one.

I have a challenge for the masses....
Pile it On.

Add as many different things that you can.  Each different thing worth 1 pt.  Goal is to reach 10 pts.
So chipboard, 1 point no matter how many pieces you use, enamels, stickers, etc.
It was much harder that I imagined.

I used Spellcast from Pink Paislee.
1. Patterned Paper
2. Cut File (FREE from the PI store - Love you to the Moon and Back.)
3.  Cling Label
4. Chipboard
5. Washi Tape
6. Ephemera
7. Puffy Stickers
8. Stickers
9. Flair
10. Enamels
11. Date Stamp
12. Thickers
13. Sequins

Last year we took my boys chum, Jayden.  We had a great time.  The screamed like girls and clung on like babies but it was fun.  We went through several Haunted Houses.
At the end of the night, there was a parade.  The light would blink different colors, making the photos a different color.  I thought it was cool, so I created a photo strip.

Selfie Stick - Paper Issues

Hey there!
I love new things.  A few years ago, they came out with the Selfie Stick.  I got one for Christmas.  You all know what it is, but will our grandkids know?  I am sure there will be things that come along that are much much better than a Selfie Stick.
So the day after Christmas, the three of us were giving it a try.  None of us knew where to look and my mom would not stop moving her mouth for a good photo!

Anyway, I wanted to document that, along with my crazy husband so I used a Swag Bag from Paper Issues to create something fast and easy.

I started with the bag and just two really old punches that I had.  Boom.  Layout done!

Go grab a Swag Bag or sign up for the monthly Swag Bag.  Its like Christmas to your door.
Remember to use code: Mary-Ann for anything in the Paper Issues store.  You get 20% off.
