Rock the World - Paper Issues

I did another LIVE scrapbooking video over at Paper Issues.
I thought that I would gather random items that coordinate instead of a collection that already matched.  It was really a lot of fun.  I don't think I have done that in a really long time.  I also used a plate to cut a big circle!
I did use some Amy Tangerine, Shimelle and Bella Blvd.
Grab what you need from the Paper Issues Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
Download a gazillion FREE cut files while your there.

This photo of my boy getting his training wheels off his bike.  I swear, he would still have them on to this day if we let him.  He is not one to be off his own feet.  As a matter of fact, the last time he was on a bike, he fell off and broke his wrist.  It has been a couple years since he has even attempted to get on one.  Wonder how he is going to teach his own kids??

Head over to Paper Issues Friends and Fan Facebook page to get notified when there are LIVE scrapping videos coming up, what challenges they have and loads of inspiration too.
In my video, you seriously enter my head.  I tell you everything I am thinking. How I use the dinosaur as the Loch Ness monster.  The circle of fish as the ocean.  Bugs and spiders cause they hang out near water.  So, in the end, I'm not sure if its the ocean or a lake but who cares!  It is all perfect!

Do Your Thing - Paper Issues

Well, I got my hands dirty with this one.  Maybe some splats on my desk too!  I played along with the Pinspire Me Mood Board Challenge that I created the mood board for over on the Paper Issues PIFF page.  You could enter too.  Just create something that inspires you from the board and upload it HERE.  You may win a prize.

Here is the mood board....

I drew inspiration from the circles, the green and the palms.
For many hours, this boy was entertained with filling every hole in his helmet with greens from around the yard.  I played along and helped him cut some of the larger leaves.  Then, for many hours more, he entertained himself with shooting Nerf  bullets over the pool at a target.

Dream Darling - Paper Camellia

I must say that it has been a real pleasure, working with and sharing my designs over at Paper Camellia for the year of 2015.  It is sad that the year is ending and my time there is complete.  I thank you for taking time to check out the work I have submitted for them and being so kind.  Here is my last layout.

Beautiful Flo - Paper Camellia

Good morning!
Today, my most favorite layout EVER (or at least lately) is over on the Paper Camellia blog.
It is of my beautiful baby, Flo!
Remember the layout from last week with all the dark blue, green and gray triangles?
Well, all the triangles you see here, are the left over triangles from that sheet of paper.

Couch Potatoes - Paper Camellia

This leopard mink blanket can put my son and husband to sleep in a matter of minutes.  If left on the couch, its like a magnet for my dog.  It warms us in the extreme cold and makes us feel better when we are sick.  Maybe I should have named this layout differently, ha!  Anyway, for this August photo, the air-conditioning must have been a tad bit cold for my lazy boy and sleepy dog.

Today this layout is over on the Paper Camellia Blog.  I actually used a design from church for my layout inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Parade - Paper Camellia

Hi there!  I am sharing this bright colorful layout over at Paper Camellia today.  It was so fun to make with the circles, pictures, clowns and boys!  It is from 2013.  Another pretty fun event that I happened to skip for no reason.  It has been fun, looking through the older pictures and creating with them recently.  I guess forgetting is not such a bad thing after all.

GO HERE to see closeups of the layout.

100+ Miles - The Cut Shoppe

Sad to say this will be my last post over at The Cut Shoppe.  I have enjoyed my time over there, creating next to really talented ladies.  I am sad to go.  I won't be far though.  I will continue to created with plethora of files she has provided to her team.  She has been very very generous and I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know her more and work with her designs.

Here is my last post:

My boys went on a 4-wheeling trip in Maine last year with my parents.  They all thought they were going 80 miles but ended up doing over 100!  Roman complained of a sore butt for days.

I will still be around with other design teams, just the end of this fun trip!

Smitten - Paper Camellia

If you remember my comments on my last layout for Paper Camellia, I mentioned that I am surrounded by boy stuff.  So, I took this opportunity to create a layout of my pup, Flo and to use up some of the amazing pink and gold included in this months Main Scrapbooking Kit and Add-on.

Stop over to Paper Camellia to see the details of the kit and close ups of my layout.

SHOOT - Paper Camellia

Good morning!
We have survived our Disney trip and I am back at creating again.
Hope you like my next project.

It shows you what happens around my house on a continuous basis.  I feel I am surrounded by boys and boy stuff.  Thank goodness I have a pretty girl pup!  I sometimes feel out numbered!  I am not a fan of the  target on my door but after a couple years of it being there, I don't see it anymore! For my layout, I knew I wanted a large title.  So, I started with that.  Decided next on the woodgrain background because there were so many complimentary colors in my photo.  Again, I changed the color of the gold Thickers with some black spray paint.  Tone on tone journaling helps keep the focus on the photo and title.

Closeups of my layout can be found over at Paper Camellia.

Oh yeah, there is an awesome sketch over on the blog too.  I stayed pretty close to the original here.  Usually I like to change it up, but not this time.

I'll be sharing Disney photos soon.  Check back.

Hello Cutie - Paper Camellia

It is reveal day over at Paper Camellia.
It is the best time of month if you are a member (or a designer!)  It is always fun to see the unique way the papers and products from various manufacturers, are brought together to create a kit that is versatile and beautiful.

Last summer, Roman's Grampy and Nana came all the way from Florida to spend time in the New England sun.  It was much chillier for then than what they are used to.  Here is one of the cute pics I caught of my boy and his grandparents.

The beautiful blue polka dot paper is actually silver dots.  It is stunning and is from Rise & Shine from Amy Tangerine.  As stunning as it is, the sticker words that  came with the kit were gold.  Well, the only solution I had for this layout was to dig out some of my silver spray paint to fix this problem!
This is what they looked like before I got ahold of them!

Add a little paint and voila!

I love these labels from Fancy Pants Office Suite Collection.  Clumping them together may just be my favorite thing!

The "hello" and "cutie" are raw wood veneer pieces from Elle's Studio Cienna collection.  A little paint on them also helped bring the entire project together.
Well, that and drips of the silver paint!

I hope that you like my project.  If you love what you see for kit embellishments, head on over to Paper Camellia to sign up and we can do this together!

Plus a few more things that just didn't make the photo:o)

Once a month, they bring you a fresh new sketch to help get the scrappers creative juices flowing.  Here is my layout.

I used Amy Tangerine Stitched collection for my project.  If you need anything from the Paper Issues STORE, be sure to use code: Mary-Ann to receive 20% your entire order.

New Year's Eve - The Cut Shoppe

For the last 4-5 years, my little family has been joining friends for a hard core bowling and eating frenzy.  It starts really early and it's just for a couple hours, to ensure everyone can get home before the crazies are out driving.  For 3 years (?) our friends, the Jennings have joined us.  We have created an after party kinda thing at our house.  We play games, eat more food and enjoy a cold beverage or two.  We are safe and have a grand time.  When I saw Ashley's cut files for New Years, I thought I would go ahead and document the afterparty.  Here is my layout that is over at The Cut Shoppe blog today.

I used Studio Calico papers from the Walden and Park Ave kits.  I added a few random elements from Dear Lizzy and Amy Tangerine.  An older Two Peas flair and some Tinsel Color Shine by Heidi Swapp.  Here are a few close ups of the layout.

The original cut file looks like this...

I decided to remove the hearts and add the burst from the Hero Up cut file instead.  When adding the burst, I removed the words from it too.  I thought the burst would was a better for my topic.

I started adding "2015" here and realized that it wasn't quite 2015 yet.

So, over at The Cut Shoppe Blog, there is a ONE DAY ONLY sale celebrating Ashley's birthday.  Use code: FLASH40 to get 40% off everything today only.  So, go HERE NOW!!

The details of this layout was also inspired by the Creative Jumpstarts 07 challenge over at Marcy Penner and Stephanie Bryans blogs.

See you again really soon!
