St. Patrick's Day - Paper Issues

Morning friends.
Ready to start those St. Patrick's Days layouts with all the fun products in the Paper Issues shop?
I got a head start using a sketch that Kelly Feldman designed for Keep it Sketchy in March.
Sketches really help me get a jump start.  I am far behind on documenting St. Patty's day, so, receiving this product and a fresh sketch, everything came together really nicely.

This sketch would be fun for any topic.  Grab your stash and play along over on the PIFF FB page.
Use code: Mary-Ann at check out from the PI store and get 20% off your entire purchase.

It's a Boy Thing - Paper Issues

Morning!

A sketch is a great way to get the creative mojo flowing.
I really need it lately.

I dug out a photo of 3 of my favorite boys, having fun around a hotel in Philadelphia.  We met their mom to pick them up for a week.  We had the best time.  Wish we could do it again real soon,  I miss them terribly.

Any-who, I was given a sketch to create a layout over at Paper Issues.  This is what I came up with.  I used Simple Stories Lil Dude from the Paper Issues store.  You can grab what every you need, anytime for 20% off if you use code: Mary-Ann.

Boys Rule - Paper Issues

Paper Issues partnered up with PageMaps to get our creative juices flowing.  Sometimes you just need a nudge.  I certainly do right now.  They provided a few sketchs for our PI team to use.  I had a great time with Simple Stories Lil' Dude.

For the bottom polka dot paper, I used the FREE cut file from Paper Issues called - Polka Dots.

Remember to use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire purchase from Paper Issues.

BEACH - Paper Issues

It is Let's Get Sketchy day over on the Paper Issues Blog.
I played along with the fun sketch and let the paper do the work.  I used Jillibean Soup Shades of Color Soup, a Punch and the letters from the collection.  Bomb.  Done.

This was a super fun day with our friends, the Mastro's.
We built sand castles, the kids covered themselves with dirt, we body surfed.  It was a glorious day.
Oh, and we caught crabs!

Anyway, here is my take on the sketch and I provided the sketch for you to see.
You can play along too.
You have the entire month!
Submit your layout or project over on the PIFF page to qualify for a chance to win a prize.
Also, grab anything, anytime from the Paper Issues store with code: Mary-Ann and get 20% off EVERYTHING!

Sweet Boy Love! - Paper Issues

I love sketches.  They are a great jumping off point when you are stuck in a creative rut.  Over on the Paper Issues blog, there is a new sketch each month.
Let's take a look at my layout.  It is an older picture of my love.  He loved his pacifiers and obviously loved more than one.  If you put one in his mouth upside down, he would flip it right over in a blink.  As adults, we tried and tried to do it too but couldn't!
Isn't he tiny here?  I just love him.

Now, lets take a look at the sketch.

If you head to the Paper Issues Blog, you will see how other team members interpreted the inspiration.

I used Crate Paper Little You and it is available in the Paper Issues Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Beautiful Flo - Paper Camellia

Good morning!
Today, my most favorite layout EVER (or at least lately) is over on the Paper Camellia blog.
It is of my beautiful baby, Flo!
Remember the layout from last week with all the dark blue, green and gray triangles?
Well, all the triangles you see here, are the left over triangles from that sheet of paper.
