Baseball - Paper Issues

Nothing worse than having an entire post written and then its gone!

So today I am sharing a layout I created for the Paper Issues Camp Crop that is from Aug 14-16th.    There is loads of inspiration, challenges and prize to be had.  I am playing along with the Star Gazer Challenge.  Each challenge you play along with, you earn a badge.  Just like summer camp or Girl Scouts!

I used Carta Bella Baseball and used a piece of flair from A Flair for Buttons.  The cut file is FREE from the Paper Issues store and called USA Star.

Family Game Night - Paper Issues

Morning!
During this time of crisis, my family has been doing a lot of game playing, cooking (which I hate) and watching series.
The other night, I bought SkipBo from Target and we have been playing tons.  Merle, our baby franchise, decided he needed to be held because he does not realize he is a dog.  So up he came, to my sons lap.  He played the game with us.  So, I had to document the event with Carta Bella - Family Game Night.

I actually created this layout on a LIVE FB video in front of a crowd.  I let them select some of the options that I used on the layout.  The collection is a cross between Brady Bunch and the Jetsons.
I used the TV guide page to separate my photos and clumps of embellishments in to the 3 different corners.  Kinda like vignettes.  This collection is available in the Paper Issues Store if you go HERE.

Let's take a look at the details of the layout.

Turkey Day - Technique Tuesday

Hey there.
I was really excited to be asked by Technique Tuesday to create a layout with the new Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set and Turkey and Pie Crafting Dies.  Both items are under the New Product Category.  They are darling.  There are so many fall option, and now Christmas options.  You just go see.  Especially if you are a card maker or like to add stamping to your layouts.  Their dies are pretty cute too.

Here is what I created...  In my mind, I was trying to create a plate.  Not quite what I was thinking but I still like the circle ides.  The papers and ephemera are from Carta Bella and I grabbed those from Paper Issues.  Grab anything from PI for 20% off with my code: Mary-Ann.

Never Too Old - Paper Issues

Meet me over on the Paper Issues blog and see the Scraplift Sunday Layout, and how the team lifted from it.

Bub was 10 years old, we passed a Build-a-bear and saw the minion.  We had to stop.  He loved the movie, so the minion was perfect.  I believe, you are never too old for a stuffie.  He named it Bob and we took him to Maine for the weekend too.  He helped drive and hid our dog so she could nap!  lol

I used Carta Bella Toy Box.  Its so fun, perfect for all things boy and boy toys.
Grab it from the Paper Issues shop for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Ghostbusters - Paper Issues

I tried my hand at a newer title challenge  over at Paper Issues called Working Title run by Amanda Baldwin.  For the May challenge, she asks that we bend our titles. Make it round, curvy or wavy.  A bright idea came to mind immediately!  I had asked my chum Mary Ann Jenkins to make me a Ghostbusters sign months ago and decided to finally use it!

Bub and I went on a date a while ago to see Ghostbusters.  He knows how much I love photos and photo props so he automatically walked over to the cardboard stand up.  I had no idea he would pose like this and act so goofy.  I love it when I don't have to beg.

I used left over bits from Carta Bella Space Academy and Crate Paper Cool Kid.  All still available in the Paper Issues store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Gigante - Paper Issues

It is time for the new FREE printable over at Paper Issues.  It made a light bulb go off in my head when I saw the taco card.  I had the perfect picture, but had to find it!

My boys have a favorite restaurant.  Margaritas.  Once a week, seven times a week, they don't care, they love it!  This Gigante taco was a limited time taco.  If you could eat the entire thing, they gave free tacos away for a year or something like that.  He could not even eat half.  For $10 it was worth the try though.

I used a Swag Bag from the Paper Issues store, the Taco PI Paper POP and the 12x12 plaid paper is from Carta Bella Beach Day 4x6 journaling card paper.

Choose Happy - A Flair for Buttons

Good morning.
I recently came across these Christmas photos, that capture the relationship between these three kids.  They have know each other for 10 years now.  They actually met on Roman's first  birthday.  One minute they are bored and or fighting, the next, they are throwing a party and acting like fools.

Even though they are Christmas photos,  chose to capture the relationship not the time of year.
I am sharing this layout and the close ups over on the A Flair for Buttons blog.  I also tell you where to get these flair and what kind they are!  There are so many more to choose from too.
Head over to the AFB blog to see.

Hello - The Rubber Cafe

I've got a pretty bird card over at The Rubber Cafe today.
Birds usually aren't my thing but this guy was too pretty not to use.

Hope you all have a blessed Merry Christmas.  We are pretty excited here.  Dickey the elf is back and wreaking havoc.  Family has been rotating through my house and I could not be happier.  I am grateful that people take time to spend moments with my little family.

Merry Christmas.

Learn from yesterday - The Rubber Cafe

"Learn from Yesterday
Live for today
Hope for Tomorrow"

This is one of the amazing sentiments on the stamp sets over at The Rubber Cafe's - Creative Cafe KOTM.  They are stunning and can be used in so many ways.  Oh, and the paper in this kit, TO DIE FOR!  I love small tiny floral prints.  Something about them makes me happy.  The more vintage they look, or wallpapery they look the better for me.  Here is todays card, over at The Rubber Cafe's blog. Be sure to head on over and leave a comment on how great you think my card is!!!  hehe
