Going Places - Paper Issues

Hey there!
To be honest, it was a nightmare.  It was blurry, kept going in and out for me and freezing.
But, the layout came out ok!
It was Scraplift Sunday and we listen MandaJane.  I added her layout under mine.

I used Vicki Boutins Mixed Media Paper Pad.  OMG let me tell you how easy it makes for pulling a layout together!  All the work is done for you.  ALL OF IT! Then, with it being a lift, the design work is also done for you.  Win win!!

Shop the PI store and get 20% off with Code: Mary-Ann

These photos are from my boys 8th grade graduation.  His hair is so much longer now.
I forgot that I need to reprint the left photo of him and I.
I crossed it out for some reason and slapped that puppy right down on my layout.
I'll fix it.  lol

Cheese - Paper Issues

You guys - I have created 2 layouts!!!
TWO!  I'm so exited.  I created this based on another Scraplift Challenge over at Paper Issues PIFF page.  It is based off of a layout by my pal Devra Hunt.  Instead of using strips of papers layered at the bottom of her page, I used different banners.  That is the best thing about scrap lifts, you can be inspired by any part of it and take it from there!

I used Vicki Boutin's Kaleidoscope collection that is bright with color!
Grab it or her new collection from Paper Issues Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

8th Grade - Paper Issues

I played along with the Scraplift challenge over at Paper Issues PIFF FB Page.
I have lost my mojo and have been in a crafting funk for some time now.
I have barely touched paper unless it has been an assignment and usually that is done at the last possible moment.  I needed this lift.  The original was so inspiring.

I grabbed it from the Paper Issues Store.
If you purchase anything from them, use code Mary-Ann for 20% anytime you order.

I also used the coolest flair from A Flair For Buttons ETSY shop.

Meow - Paper Issues and A Flair for Buttons

MEOW!
It is true, A House in Not a Home Without a Cat!
Look at this sexy beast!  He was only with us 10 days when he decided to pose like a star!
We just love him.

I scrap-lifted a layout over at Paper Issues.  It is a challenge that you can participate in too.  Go HERE to see the original layout and check out how others have created off of the lift.  It is a great starting point for inspiration.  I promise.

I used Simple Stories Life is Purrfect.  Go grab whatever you need from the Paper Issues store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
I accented the layout with the perfect flair from A Flair for Buttons.

Today - Paper Issues

Morning.  Happy Sunday.
It is Scraplift Sunday over on the Paper Issues Blog
I love this challenge because it gives you a jumping off point for a new layout.
Instead of circles, I chose to do squares.

I decided to use Sweater Weather from American Crafts.  SO FUN and perfect for snowy day photos from last year.  We have barely had any snow yet this year and it is mid Dec.  Strange!

I do love all white snowy photos.  I adore the boy in them!

Never Too Old - Paper Issues

Meet me over on the Paper Issues blog and see the Scraplift Sunday Layout, and how the team lifted from it.

Bub was 10 years old, we passed a Build-a-bear and saw the minion.  We had to stop.  He loved the movie, so the minion was perfect.  I believe, you are never too old for a stuffie.  He named it Bob and we took him to Maine for the weekend too.  He helped drive and hid our dog so she could nap!  lol

I used Carta Bella Toy Box.  Its so fun, perfect for all things boy and boy toys.
Grab it from the Paper Issues shop for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Grade 7 - Paper Issues

So, my friend Devra Hunt is in charge of choosing a layout each week for a Sunday Scraplift over on the  Paper Issues blog.  She choose from the team, something fun and challenging to lift.  This week, she chose a layout by Rachel O'Neal.  It was a challenge for sure!  You can play along by entering your take of the layout to the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Page under, Scraplift Sunday, for a chance to win a prize.

I used Pinkfresh Boys Fort Collection for tis fun lift.  Grab it for 20% off in the Paper Issues store with code: Mary-Ann.

Here is Rachel's original layout.

You're Wonderful - Paper Issues

Join me over on the Paper Issues blog today.
Every Sunday, they chose a layout to scrap lift and they chose mine.  So, I had to play along.
I used the Echo Park, Once Upon a Time collection.  Grab anything you want from the Paper Issues Store for 20% with code: Mary-Ann.

This layout of Roman is when he was only 4 years old.  His cat at the time, Milford, followed him everywhere.  During this stage, he was always dressing up with any costume he could get.  He is such a sweet boy.

Here is the layout that they had us lift for Scraplift Sunday.

Winter - Paper Issues

Morning.  Each Sunday, Paper Issues PIFF has a challenge called Scrap lift Sunday.  They pick a designer's layout to scrap lift.  This week, they chose a layout  by Amanda.  She is an amazing designer and had a beautiful project that I lifted.

Here is my take.  I used Crate Paper's Snow & Cocoa collection that you can order from Paper Issues Store for 20% off when you use code: Mary-Ann.

Here is Amanda layout.  Stunning, isn't it?

Isabella - Fancy Pants

Good Morning!

By now you know that I am a fan of sketches for inspiration.
Today, the topic over at Fancy Pants, is scrap lifting another designer from the team.  It is similar to sketches.  There were many that I could lift, that is for sure, but I chose Christin Gronnslett.  She is a dirty girl.  By that I mean that she does amazing coloring to her backgrounds.  I can not even remotely do what she does.  I believe she may be the queen.

For this lift, I chose to focus of the colors, the papers, a cut file, the topic and the triangle thing that she had going.

To see both of our layouts an how different and similar they are, head on over to the Fancy Pants Blog.  We are doing this scrap lift theme all week.
The cut file I used is from The Cut Shoppe.

I used Millie & June for the collection.  You can grab it from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.  Grab anything and use the code!!!
