Pumpkin Carving - Paper Issues

It is that time again where I create a mood board from inspiration on Pinterest.  It is called Pinspire Me Mood Board.  It is so fun.  Draw inspiration from anything in the board and create a project.  Upload it to the PIFF FB page and be entered to win a gift card to the Paper Issues Store.  Win win!  You can see more of the team designs on the BLOG today.

Every year, we carve pumpkins.  This was our first year carving without our chums.  My friend Kathy seriously should offer carving classes or carve professionally.  Although our carvings are not perfect or exciting, we have so much fun making the mess.  Some of us take it seriously while others pretend to eat it for the camera.  Sigh.

I used Simple Stories Simple Kit for my papers.  A touch of mambi washi and Tim Holtz rub-ons.  I couldn't help but add black gemstones to the spider bodies from Queen & Company.

Here is a peek at the mood board itself.

Awesome - Paper Issues

Paper Issues has a new Pinspiration Me Mood Board Challenge happening on the blog today.  I created the collage and am excited to see who will participate!
You could win a gift certificate to the Paper Issues store just by entering.

Here is a look at the board....

Here is my take on the board.   I drew inspiration from the floral pattern on the roller skates, and the faded colors.

Remember to used code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire purchase in the PI store.

Laugh Love Relax - Fancy Pants

It is so much fun to be challenged by different ideas when trying to create for a design team.  Today, I am on the Fancy Pants blog.  My assignment topic for today is Pinteresting.  We are asked to find something on Pinterest that inspires us.  Thinking outside the box and NOT using sketches, color mood boards or other layouts as inspiration.  Try and find something out of the ordinary to get the creative juices flowing.

My inspiration piece was tons of fun and inspiring.  To check it out, go to the Fancy Pants blog

Leroy - Pinspiration - Paper Issues

Hello there.  Each month, Paper Issues provides its readers with an inspiration piece that they put together from Pinterest.  It is called Inspiration.  Here is my take off of the image.

Here is the original inspiration piece.  You can see that I was inspired by the cat photo, the black camera photo and the layout itself.

Below are some close ups of my layout.  Head on over to Paper Issues on FB and take a look at how others are inspired.

Thanks for taking a look.

Summer Plants - Fancy Pants

Good morning.
Today I have a really fun blog post over at Fancy Pants Blog.
I was given the category of Pinteresting.  I needed to find something off of pinterest that inspired me (not scrapbooking related) and create a project off of that.  It was so much fun.  You have to go and see what I chose for a Pin.  Actually, I chose two!!  Here is a peek but I hope you will go over and see the entire layout.
