Moments with Friends - Paper Issues

My Silhouette scares me.  I get nervous and overthink things when I want to use it.
Instead of doing something crazy with the FREE cut file from the Paper Issues store, I kept it simple. I cut a patterned paper and embellished with enamels from Bella Blvd.

On the Paper Issues blog, a few members of the Design Team have used the cut file in some pretty talented ways.

I used Illustrated Faith She Blooms by Bella Blvd.  It is gorgeous all on its own!
Grab it from the PI store for
20% off with code Mary-Ann.

Loose Moose - Fancy Pants

One day, I reluctantly agreed to go to a hunting and fishing store with my husband.  Not my favorite thing in the world.  As my son and I waited for him, we realized we had a great big stuffed moose behind us!  This immediately became a photo op! Who wouldn't, right?  In comes the blue Ninjago and our scared faces.  Amazing reenactment of a moose attack don't you think?

Check out my entire post and layout on the Fancy Pants blog today.

love - A Flair for Buttons

Join me over on the A Flair for Buttons blog.  I have chopped up paper and paired it with my favorite flair.  I used Crate Paper Hello Love.

This was before the Pats game last year.  Whenever I would say smile, I would get a look like this.  Usually involving his tongue.  Now, I get dirty looks.  I am not sure what I like better:o)

I used Wink of Stella, which is a brush pen that makes things glitter.  You can not see it here but it really made my flowers look even prettier if that is possible!

LOVE - Paper Issues

The PI team is spotlighting Bella Blvd today on the Paper Issues blog.  You will have to stop over and see all the different ways the same project can be used.  It is super fun.  Here is my take, using Bella Blvd's Valentina Collection.

I am the third wheel.  No doubt about that.  I am never in the middle, always left with an empty hand.    These boys are always holding hands, touching or just plain hanging out together.  They love me, I think:o)

Anyway, take a look at my layout while I close myself in the bathroom and have a pity party!

Grab this collection to document your true love.  Matter of fact, grab anything in the STORE

Wookie - Paper Issues

Join the Paper Issues team as we create with an amazing sketch by Amy Close.  I used Studio Calico Seven Papers as the base and flair from A Flair for Buttons.  Most of the small bits and pieces came from the Remember December Swag Bag from Paper Issues.

My boy received this amazing Wookie suit for Christmas.  In the second photo, he was actually making the wookie noise, sort of!  ha.  It was so much fun.  It makes him hot and he gets grumpy but he looks so darn cute in it.  I think I want one for myself.

Here is the sketch!

This is the tag that came off of the suite.  We ripped it off but then I realized that I wanted it for the layout.  Wouldn't you?  I tucked it right in the pocket behind the photos with his head peeking out.

Don't forget to use my code: Mary-Ann over at Paper Issues to receive 20% off your entire order.  Orders over $65 get free shipping too.

Here is my design for this project.

The boys are the best.  They came to visit last year over Thanksgiving.  The little guy, is my Godson!  We hit the Festival of Trees before they left town, which is a huge production here.  People come from all over just to see it.  There are hundreds of trees on display, all to be won by lucky people!
