Good Times - Paper Issues

 Hello again to my friends.  

I just did a Facebook LIVE Monday night and am here to share a link to the video and to share the competed layout.  I used a FREE Cut File from the Paper Issues Store and the Pink Paislee Indigo and Ivy collection that has been sold out for some time.  Sorry. But you may have it in your stash!

LUCKY - Paper Issues

As crazy as the 'Shake your Shamrock' challenge sounds, it has lots of room for interpretation.

Here are the rules:  Are you Irish, trick question...EVERYONE is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day! 

Get out those shaker elements and create a shaker box on your project. 

Grab some shamrocks and throw them on a page/Card. Let's see what you can do!

So, I used one of the FREE cut files that is called Good Luck.  

But there are soooooo many to choose from HERE. 

I'm just using the 'LUCKY' part of the file for this layout.  Plus, I do have a touch of green!

I also used Pink Paislee - Bloom Street,Horizon and 5th and Monaco for my project.

Luv Bug - Paper Issues!

Last Monday, I did a live scrapbooking video with all my pals over on the Paper Issues Friends and fans page.  Click on that to join and watch me make a fool of myself every month.  

Anywho - I created this Luv Bug layout in about an hour.

I used Pink Paisley Lucky Us that I grabbed in the Paper Issues store.  The challenge I played along with was called Split Personality.  

Here is my new favorite gal, Freya.  She is just a couple months old here.  We sat other grammy's table, hanging out and talking trash.  She may have dropped a little bit.  She is seriously so dang happy.  I can't help but love her to death.

Sometimes the crazies over at Paper Issues decide to throw an impromptu crop.  

This weekend happens to be one.  

I have a challenge for the masses....

Pile it On.

Add as many different things that you can.  Each different thing worth 1 pt.  Goal is to reach 10 pts.  

So chipboard, 1 point no matter how many pieces you use, enamels, stickers, etc. 

It was much harder that I imagined.

Last year we took my boys chum, Jayden.  We had a great time.  The screamed like girls and clung on like babies but it was fun.  We went through several Haunted Houses.  

At the end of the night, there was a parade.  The light would blink different colors, making the photos a different color.  I thought it was cool, so I created a photo strip.

Sandy Stream - Paper Issues

Yesterday, Paper Issues design team highlighted Pink Paislee's Outfitters collection.  When I had it out, creating for yesterdays post, I couldn't stop.  So, I created another.

Our favorite destination when we are camping at Baxter State Park, is Sandy Stream.  We are often delighted with the presence of a moose or two.  This year was no different.  The view is breathtaking.

Center Mtn Pond - Paper Issues

During our recent Baxter camping trip, four boys (Joe, Tyler, Randy and Roman) decided to hike into Center Mountain Pond.  It was 4.6 miles in and 4.6 miles out.  Just to fish.  Not my thing but they had a blast.

Cider Donuts - Paper Camellia

Today I am over on the Paper Camellia blog, sharing this layout of my boy, eating our favorite fall food!  If you have never had a fresh cider donut, you are not living.  It is the most amazing thing ever.  It is soft and crunchy all at the same time.  It truly is divine.

Happy - Paper Camellia

Today is a big day over at Paper Camellia.  

We are announcing the November scrapbooking kit and add ons that are available.  

This month is probably one of my favorites.  It combines Pink Paislee with touches of Jen Hadfields, Homemade collection.  It is definitely fitting product for this time of year.  

Here is a look at my first layout for the month, using only the Main Scrapbooking kit.  I didn't use half of the product available.  There are thickers that will be making a debut on my projects later in the month that is for sure.  

I fussy cut these flowers out of one of the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane papers.  I layered some with foam tape for dimension.  

This is my family and my mom, apple picking just a few weeks ago.  I think we were on the hay ride here.  

For my title.  I chopped down one of the 3x4 cards and covered the bottom word.  

I wanted the blue and just the word Happy.
