FUN - Paper Issues

Good morning!

Today I am participating in the Take 5 challenge over in the

You can use any of the items on the list but you MUST use 5.
This was super easy for me since I love to add lots of things to my layouts.
Here is the list....

I used: Pink, Blue, Flowers, Patterned Paper, Stripes, Bow, and Layers!  That is 7 things from the list!

Over Thanksgiving last year, my family went to see some dear friends in Texas.
Since we were all girls, I used the girliest stuff I could find from the Paper Issues store!  I used Maggie Holmes Carousel collection made by Crate Paper.
I added a few flair for just the right added embellishments from A Flair for Buttons.

YAY - A Flair for Buttons

We love a good fair and the Topsfield one is pretty great. We have tried to go the last few years.  We love to eat the junk and ride the rides.  Roman is the most daring.  If I ride anything that spins, I am done for the day.  Maybe even a few days!

So, today, I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog with a fun layout using the Maggie Holmes Carousel collection, a FREE Carousel Cut File from Paper Issues and 4 different sets of flair from A flair for Buttons to replicate the seats on the ride.

I grabbed this collection from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Happy Moments - A Flair for Buttons

Good Morning!
Today is my day over on the A Flair for Buttons Blog.  I couldn't help but bring in black and white flair to accompany the gorgeous Maggie Holmes Carousel Collection from Crate Paper.

I think so many things would match but I had to get that big bow on there, and needed  black and white to help blend it in.

All the flair you could possibly want is in the A Flair for Buttons ETSY shop.  If you are looking for this paper collection, head to the Paper Issues store to grab it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann

Keeping' it Real - Paper Issues

This is my first time participating in the 'Working Title' challenge over at Paper Issues.
For this month, Amanda Baldwin has us adding bling to our titles.  That could be  glitter, gold, shine, whatever!  I used a new set of stickers that are pearly white and some glitter hearts.  All on a page that shows you my working conditions.  ha!  This girl!  I love her and obviously she loves me.  If I leave room behind me, this is where she is.  Always keeping my back warm.  She is just so darn sweet.  I love doing projects with the two of us, I can use flowers, glitter, pink!

Here is my layout....

I used Maggie Holmes - Chasing Dreams.  I cut the tags from a piece of paper and lined them up just as they were originally.  Just pushed them closer together and left one out.

Grab this collection or anything else you want from the Paper Issues store for 20% off any order with code: Mary-Ann.

I'm With the Band - Paper Issues

I love this photo of my boy playing the trumpet!
This is a photo from from April, being his first year playing.  He also got braces two weeks into band.  That was a huge obstacle but he is really doing great.

Maybe I should have titled it "Let the Trumpets Blow" which is a popular song right now on the radio.  Every time Bub plays, his dad starts singing that song!  Maybe my next layout.

Anyway, on the Paper Issues blog today, the Design Team his spotlighting the Gather collections designed by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper.  Wait until you see how EVERY layout looks different.  You would NEVER know they all came from the same collection.  Pretty impressive really.  I also used a FREE cut file from the Paper Issues store.

Let's Bake Ma - A Flair for Buttons

Join me over on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.
I have created this layout using Crate Paper Bloom by Maggie Holmes.
My school colors were purple and gold!  This is a ton lighter in color but still reminds me of it.
Bub loves to help me cook.  Specific things that is.  Tacos, so he can eat the meat.  Banana bread so he can lick the spoon.  He does love to chop.  I should use him more in the kitchen.  That is why I had a kid after all, right?

Shelley has an amazing amount of flair in her ETSY shop.  I hope you'll stop over to at least take a look.  Each  time I look, I find something I didn't see before.  I often find a piece of flair that inspires a layout!

to be continued.... - A Flair for Buttons

Morning!  With all of the diamonds that are everywhere in the scrapbooking industry, I needed to find a way to use them.  Why not use them on a baseball photo!  I remember using one not too long ago on my "Game Ball" layout too.  It actually was the same day as this.  So, they will match, when they are beside each other when the get put into albums.  If they ever get put into albums, HA!  You should see my pile.

Back to business!  I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.  I used Just Words 3 Flair for this.  I also used the beautiful Shine collection, designed by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper.

I hope you will stop over and take a look at my post on the A Flair For Buttons blog.  I think you will love the flair in Shelly's ETSY shop too.
