Santa Stopped Here! - Paper Issues

Morning friends,  I know this looks like my post two times ago,  but I swear it isn't the same one!!  For this layout, I used the Kitchen Sink Kit from Paper Issues.  It includes Cocoa Vanilla product, including the tree that I used before.  Ahem, and the woodgrain I used too,  lol
I honestly didn't even realize it until I went to blog this morning.  Oh well.  They will be separated in my albums so I am not worried.

I just love this photo.  We normally go to the mall every year.  Of course, with covid, this year is completely different.  We did not want Roman to sit with Santa like normal, so our friends came over, one dressed as Santa and we took a photo here on the porch.  We also took family ones, and their family too.  They used their photo for the Christmas card.  I would have but we already ordered ours.

I digress!  Back to topic, here is my project for today.  4 of us crazy gals created with these kits LIVE on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans group.   Go HERE to rewatch but bring your tissues.  We laugh so hard. The rule is, you have to used everything that is included in the kit.  I painted my little wood stars with Nuvo and the large star with yellow Nuvo.  it looked like mustard so I glittered on top of that.  I still see glitter everywhere.  I hate glitter.  Hate it!

With Freya - Pretty Little Studio

I am totally smitten with my great niece and the Christmas Cheer by Pretty Little Studios.
I love the wreath style idea, Boughs of Holly, but didn't want to use it as it was. I decided I only wanted to use half of it and wasn't sure how that was going work until I tried playing around.

Head on over to the Pretty Little Studio Blog.

Naught List - Paper Issues

It has been a while since I did a Scraplift for Scraplift Sunday over at Paper Issues.
We lifted Danielle for this weeks lift.  I was at my moms and had this collection out and I thought it would be a great opportunity to try to use even more of it.  Since I love it so much.

Randy was out of town and I went to an ugly sweater party at my friend Julies house.
I love this photo of my friends.  We had a great night.

Look below for the lift and head to Paper Issues to grab this collection, Christmas Wishes by Pretty Little Studios or anything else you want for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Santa Parade - Fancy Pants

The Santa Parade is a big hit every year.  We have walked in it and watched it for years.  Last year, all the kids bought red santa poop emoji hats.  They had a blast.  Bub's is now his topper for the tree in his room.

I used Fancy Pants Holiday Hustle to create this layout.
You can grab it from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Head over to the Fancy Pants blog for more info.

Here is my design for this project.

The boys are the best.  They came to visit last year over Thanksgiving.  The little guy, is my Godson!  We hit the Festival of Trees before they left town, which is a huge production here.  People come from all over just to see it.  There are hundreds of trees on display, all to be won by lucky people!

#definitelytwins

Around the Christmas season, we often get told that our son looks just like the boy from Christmas Story.  We could see how people would think that.  It wasn't exact but definitely a resemblance.  One day last year, we walked into my all  time favorite store, Target, and there it was.  A large kiosk for the movie, Christmas Story.  On the side was a huge picture of the boy.  My son scrunched down and said, "mama look!"  OMG, I can definitely see the what people saw!  He is the EXACT image!  Unfortunately, we do not get royalties:o(  If they ever do a remake of the movie, he would for sure get the part!  Don't you think?

You can check out my entire layout over on the Fancy Pants blog.  If you havent' seen their new Wish Season collection, you really want to take a look!

Merry Christmas - mambi

Today, mambi is sharing one of my Christmas layouts on their blog.  I love all the black.  It is inspired by a recently layout I saw by Cassie Box.  Although completely different in color and some detail, you will see similarities.  Soon as I saw it, I told her I was scrap lifting.  So here is my take on a sketch challenge that she participated in.

I used mambi Christmas product to include:
mambiSHEETS, mambiSTICKS, Soft Spoken, mambiCHIPS and mambiSHAPES
I also used: Queen & Co. Red Gems, a circle punch, diamond punch and white paint.

Go to the mambi blog for more photos of my layout.  Also be sure to head to Cassie's blog to see her layout.
