Together - Paper Issues

Hey there friends.
You have to be a member to watch.  Just request to join and you can see all of the upcoming lives in the Events Section of the page.

I wasn't sure how I was going to play along with the newest sketch (see below) but I love the end result.  I planned to use the stamp set that I purchased, which is amazing, but I was off on my color choices and it did not match.  At all.  You can see in the video.  I think I'll make a card with it instead.

I used the new Celebrate Us collection from a collaboration between
Pinkfresh Studios and Altenew.
Shop at the PI store and get 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

The photo is from when I went to Kansas in February to go to a crafters meet up
and it was so close to my niece, I stayed extra days!  We had so much fun.  Her home is darling and her new husband is even better.   Her and I did little excursions.  This was one to the A&W drive through for Rootbeer floats! It was all right before the whole Corona thing.

Anyway, here is my layout and Thanks for stopping by!

Smile - Paper Issues

Morning PI Friends.
I feel like it has been a while since I've been here sharing any projects with you.
Today, I am playing along with a Scraplift Sunday and lifting Lacey Robin's Hello layout over at Paper Issues.
I'll share that below.  For my layout, I used the new FREE Cut File - Smile made by Stacie Dietz.
It is very similar to the Hello file just a different word.  I also deleted the stitching dots around the heart.  I have never stitched and not sure I am planning on it.  I love to see other peoples work with stitching and can appreciate the beauty. I feel I would destroy my paper!

Today - Paper Issues

Hey folks.
My layout today is based off of a sketch I created for Paper Issues
They are doing 30 days of sketches right now.  Its actually pretty fun and I was able to create 3 of them.  Ill show you below the sketch for today.
I document a photo of my mom, Roman and I.  We were hanging out at her house not long after Christmas last year.

When I saw the floral ephemeral pack from PinkFresh - My Little Story, I wanted to use as many pieces as I could.  So, this is what I made.

Go grab what you need from the PI Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

LUCKY - Paper Issues

As crazy as the 'Shake your Shamrock' challenge sounds, it has lots of room for interpretation.
Head over to Paper Issues Blog to see more inspiration or to their PIFF FB Page.

Here are the rules:  Are you Irish, trick question...EVERYONE is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day!
Get out those shaker elements and create a shaker box on your project.
Grab some shamrocks and throw them on a page/Card. Let's see what you can do!
P.S. There are a bunch of St. Patrick's Day themed cut files in the shop for FREE!

So, I used one of the FREE cut files that is called Good Luck.
But there are soooooo many to choose from HERE
I'm just using the 'LUCKY' part of the file for this layout.  Plus, I do have a touch of green!

Coulter Family Fun! - Paper Camellia

Each month, Paper Camellia provides a sketch as a jumping off point for inspiration.  I love sketches and this is my take on this months sketch.  Boy, this pictures is pretty old.  Look how little my boy its!

Here a look at the sketch.  I just reversed it.

I also painted the weed veneer blue to help being more blue into my layout.

I also created this cute card based on the sketch too.

Thank you taking a look!

NOTworthtenbucks - Paper Camellia

Good morning.  No, I did not make a mistake and run my words together.  I meant to add a hashtag before my title but there wasn't one so I left it as is.  I think it is fun!  Speaking of fun, today is reveal day over at Paper Camellia.  You get to see what the design team has been up to with the August kits. We get them a tad bit before the customers and hopeful get to inspire you  to dig into your box as soon as it gets to your front door.  It is a pretty exciting day when it shows up at my door, I tell ya!

For this layout, I wanted to use as much Fancy Pants in the kit as possible.  I added a few Pink Fresh embellishments that coordinated and some journaling to help you understand the title.

Head over to Paper Camellia to see what the other designers have created.
Also, I have to tell you that I scrap lifted this layout.  Yup.  Every Sunday over at Paper Issues facebook page, they have Scrap lift Sunday.  This week was a layout by Mandy Kay Starner.  You should check it out HERE.  Lift it if you want!  Be sure to share.
