Going Places - Paper Issues

Hey there!
To be honest, it was a nightmare.  It was blurry, kept going in and out for me and freezing.
But, the layout came out ok!
It was Scraplift Sunday and we listen MandaJane.  I added her layout under mine.

I used Vicki Boutins Mixed Media Paper Pad.  OMG let me tell you how easy it makes for pulling a layout together!  All the work is done for you.  ALL OF IT! Then, with it being a lift, the design work is also done for you.  Win win!!

These photos are from my boys 8th grade graduation.  His hair is so much longer now.
I forgot that I need to reprint the left photo of him and I.
I crossed it out for some reason and slapped that puppy right down on my layout.
I'll fix it.  lol

Lovely - Paper Issues

Hey there!
Mary-Ann Maldonado here today, sharing my take on this weeks Scraplift Sunday over at the Paper Issues blog

If you head over to PIFF, or Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page, you can see all of the fun challenges for the month of September, along with this one, which is my favorite.

I used lots and lots of PinkFresh Just a Little Lovely for my layout.  I also, flipped the layout on the side and had my half circle dropping from the top.  Instead of triangles to create a circle, I used a FREE cut file called Rustic Wreath.

Go grab what you need from the store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Here is MandaJane's original.

Nubble - Paper Issues

Hey there!
I love Scraplift Sunday.
Mostly because it is so easy to create a layout when most of the work has already been done for you!
This week, we are lifting a layout by Stacie Dietz.
We would love if you played along.  Go to our PIFF page and see the June challenges.  We have so many different challenges every month.
I also used Crate Paper Sunny Days.

Here is my take on her layout.  Instead of using a heart cut file, like Stacie, I fussy cut a piece of paper to use.  There are no rules in lifting.  You can change it up anyway that you want.

Here is Stacies layout...

Football - Paper Issues

Morning friends!
Today is Scraplift Sunday over at Paper Issues!
It is a fun lift from a layout by Devra Hunt.
Squares and scattered placement make it a unique project to replicate.
I tried, but hers is just so good!

I used Crate Paper La La Love and threw in some of my old football pieces.
Its eclectic but I like it.
Grab some goodies from the Paper Issues store and play along.

Bake - Paper Issues

So, I decided to do a scraplift again!!
This time, Paper Issues chose a layout by Jen McMurtrey to lift on 1/20/19.
This challenge can be found on the Paper Issues PIFF Facebook page if you want to play along.

I have been addicted to the Yellow Door collection from Fancy Pants and have used it again.  I have almost used everything from this collection.  I am definitely running low of papers.  Maybe I'll grab more from the Paper Issues store.
You can too and get 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Lovely Day - Paper Issues

Need inspiration?
A scraplift is where its at.
But, it is very important to give credit where credit is due.

Every Sunday, Paper Issues chooses a layout from a DT member to lift.
For January 13th, Kat Benjamin's layout was chosen.

If you want to play along with this lift, go ahead and add your creation to the

I used Yellow Door Collection from Fancy Pants for todays layout.
Head to PI and get it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
Instead of solid papers like Kat
I pieced squares together to replicate an triangle of paper.

Here is Kat's original layout.

Today - Paper Issues

Morning.  Happy Sunday.
It is Scraplift Sunday over on the Paper Issues Blog
I love this challenge because it gives you a jumping off point for a new layout.
Instead of circles, I chose to do squares.

I decided to use Sweater Weather from American Crafts.  SO FUN and perfect for snowy day photos from last year.  We have barely had any snow yet this year and it is mid Dec.  Strange!

I do love all white snowy photos.  I adore the boy in them!
Grab this collection from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Never Too Old - Paper Issues

Meet me over on the Paper Issues blog and see the Scraplift Sunday Layout, and how the team lifted from it.

Bub was 10 years old, we passed a Build-a-bear and saw the minion.  We had to stop.  He loved the movie, so the minion was perfect.  I believe, you are never too old for a stuffie.  He named it Bob and we took him to Maine for the weekend too.  He helped drive and hid our dog so she could nap!  lol

I used Carta Bella Toy Box.  Its so fun, perfect for all things boy and boy toys.
Grab it from the Paper Issues shop for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
