Love This - Paper Issues

Morning all.
I'm using up my button stash.  It's for a challenge over at Paper Issues called Buttoned Up.
It is challenging you to use up buttons that you have had forever!  You know you have them.
I cut my papers, from Doodlebug Dragon Tails, into pie shaped pieces.  Used the rock looking paper to place my buttons on.  The buttons I chose were the same colors as the collection!

Grab what you need from the Paper Issues Store for 20% off when you use my code: Mary-Ann at checkout.

So, my boy starts hollering, MOM!  MOM! Of course I came running.  MY EYE, MY EYE!  Not funny at the time but I did make him reenact it so I could take the photos.  Little sucker!

The Good Stuff - Fancy Pants

My husband and I have been married over 20 years and together over 24. This is us, early on in our dating period.  I stumbled across this photo just last week before Valentines day.  We look like such babies.  I wanted to document it with product, worthy of hanging on the wall.  I had just revived my new goodie box  from Fancy Pants and The Bright Side collection had the perfect colors.

My mom gifted me tons of her buttons.  She even scrounged tons from her knitting group.  My step mother also gave me her mother's tin.  I can not tell you where these buttons came from, but I am certain they have a 20+ year story to tell too.

I love when the product itself, offers you titles with in the collection.  I used 'the good stuff' as my easy title.  I used piece of a cut file from The Cut Shoppe - Blooming Bouquets.  It added a little more depth to the  floral clump.

YAY - A Flair for Buttons

We love a good fair and the Topsfield one is pretty great. We have tried to go the last few years.  We love to eat the junk and ride the rides.  Roman is the most daring.  If I ride anything that spins, I am done for the day.  Maybe even a few days!

So, today, I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog with a fun layout using the Maggie Holmes Carousel collection, a FREE Carousel Cut File from Paper Issues and 4 different sets of flair from A flair for Buttons to replicate the seats on the ride.

I grabbed this collection from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Ben Franklin - AFB

Seems like so long ago my boy had a fun project to due.  He had to give a speech and dress as the character.  I absolutely love how dedicated he was to the entire project.  Look how adorable he is in his soccer socks, pulled up black sweats, dads oversized white shirt, an old black shirt cut into a vest and homemade bald head!  I can't help but smile.

This handsome guy is on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.
Head on over to see where you can grab these beautiful flair and find more inspiration.

Brave - A Flair for Buttons

Here is my boy pitching for the first time last season.  His first few pitches were great!
He has a great arm, just needs help with precision.  This year he is thinking about football.
Sigh.  I just don't know if I can handle that.

So, I was low on both Bella Blvd Alex and Crate Paper Cool Kid.
I combined them both to create this layout.
I also used four different sets of flair from A Flair for Buttons on this project.
They all blend together perfectly.
You can see where you can get this flair over on the A Flair for Buttons blog today!

Lunch Date - A Flair for Buttons

Anytime, anywhere, you can convince my boy and I to go on a lunch date.  You mention Cracker Barrel and we are there!!!  Ever since my boy was little, we would carefully remove the paper piece that wraps the silverware.  Then make it into a circle and use it for binos.  Simple, free entertainment.  He also still likes to blow the straw wrapper which drives me insane.  Why?  Because it is always shot at me.  I am always opposite him and his dad.  Anyway, these photos are from our date a few months ago, still creating binos with paper rings.

So, today I am on the A Flair for Buttons Blog.  I love the flair I chose.  You can find all of Shelly's flair HERE in her ETSY Store.  I used Crate Paper Cool Kid that can be purchased at Paper Issues for 20% when you use code: Mary-Ann.
