Memories - Pretty Little Studio

Day 3 with Pretty Little Studio!!!

I started with another one of the amazing vintage character, Clark.  Well, how could I not use these cute photos of my little man playing for the Indians!  This was his first year playing t-ball.

Pulling the perfect colors out of the Ain't Life Grand collection makes the photos and Clark, pop.  I used the Shutterbug Stickers to carry on the round baseball theme.
I journaled directly on the 12x12 paper.
Thanks for stopping by again today!

Baseball - AFB

It is my turn on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.  Hoping you will stop over to the ETSY shop and check out the best flair there is.  There are so many options to chose from, I am sure there is something for you.  You can add magnets to the back or pins!  Your choice.

This is from the end of season last year.  It was not a great year but these boys played their hearts out.  They had a great time together and developed friendships that I hope will last throughout their baseball 'career.'

I used Simple Stories Baseball Mini Collection and left lots of white space.  I use a piece of flair from the Baseball Flair set and one from the At the Fair set.

to be continued.... - A Flair for Buttons

Morning!  With all of the diamonds that are everywhere in the scrapbooking industry, I needed to find a way to use them.  Why not use them on a baseball photo!  I remember using one not too long ago on my "Game Ball" layout too.  It actually was the same day as this.  So, they will match, when they are beside each other when the get put into albums.  If they ever get put into albums, HA!  You should see my pile.

Back to business!  I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.  I used Just Words 3 Flair for this.  I also used the beautiful Shine collection, designed by Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper.

I hope you will stop over and take a look at my post on the A Flair For Buttons blog.  I think you will love the flair in Shelly's ETSY shop too.

Game Ball - Paper Camellia

Yup, that is my handsome boy who received the game ball that day for the Braves!  He had a great hit that helped his team score!  This layout is over on the Paper Camellia blog today.  Head over and check it out.  I used the Main Scrapbooking Kit and the Embellishment Add on as well.

Hello Braves Pool Party - Paper Camellia

I am super excited to share this layout I created from the April Scrapbooking Kit from Paper Camellia.  It is full of super fun product from Maggie Holmes.
This layout is of my boy and most of his chums from his baseball team this year.
They were the Braves!  They were crazy.  Really crazy.  But tons of fun.

There are close ups and details over on the Paper Camellia blog.
If you want in on the action, go HERE to sign up for the club.

Baseball Season

The Braves may not have won the playoffs but what a fun team. They lost several games at the beginning of the season and so many games got rained out.  But the last half, man, the coach would say "the bats were on fire!"  There were such great players on this team.  Some could really smack the ball while others fielded well.  They had great sportsmanship and finished the season in third place  before the playoffs.  Bubba made some great friends.  So did I.  I feel a little sad now that it is all over.  A little empty feeling when we are sitting at home on a week night, not rushing out the door to the field.  I do love being a baseball mom.  I hope he continues the sport.  Here are a few pictures I captured  of the team.

This was when then started this new chant and cheer.  I overheard one of the 9 yr old boys say, "It doesn't matter what the score is, we just need to play our best."

Bubba and his Chum.

Me and my chums!!  During one of many rainy days.

Here is one that an other parent took during the season.

I snuck this group photo during pictures.

Here are the boys after they were defeating during the playoff games.  Still have fun.

Here is Roman's coach that put in tons of time with these boys.

FYI, the team that beat the Braves was in the last place standing for playoffs.  They have won two games now and are in the semi-finals.  Wouldn't it be cool if they won the whole thing?

Thanks for hanging with me during my reflection of the baseball season.  It was so much fun.  Can't wait til next year.
