Celebrate - Paper Camellia

I have been trying to scrapbook my photos from the USMC ball this past November.  I have been able to do some with the amazing product that has been provided in the Paper Camellia Scrapbooking Kits.  This month is no exception.  The kit is packed with gorgeous product that matches my photos perfectly.

Head over to Paper Camellia blog to see more about my layout.  If you are interested in joining the monthly fun, go HERE!

Happy Valentine's Day - Paper Issues

Today, Paper Issues is doing what they call a Product Spotlight.  When Sherri asked which product I might like to use and if I wanted to participate with her on this project,  I was totally on board.  I love Kiss Kiss by Crate Paper and had plenty on hand to create a fresh project.  I took a look back at all of my past Valentine's and don't have very many photos.  It really doesn't matter though, I have plenty of people and photos of people that I love.  This is perfectly suitable for that.

Under the photo and all around the page, I doodled with a gold marker.  Created little hearts and doodles to help emphasize my gold accents.

Ok, so three was a little stretch but he was still 3 for two more days in this photo!

If you have been inspired by this project, head to the store and use my code: Mary-Ann to receive 20% off your entire order any time on anything.  It is a pretty good discount.  Thanks for coming by.

Things have a way.... The Rubber Cafe

Today I have a card over at The Rubber Cafe.
I am using December's Creative Cafe's KOTM - On The Move.
It contains these uber cool bees and a saying that is hard to remember sometimes,
"things have a way of working out."

Here is my card, with lots of GOLD!

4:23 Easter Standard Time - mambi

Today I am sharing this layout that tells you why I love Day Light Savings over on the mambi Blog!  Not long after I completed this layout, I checked and the Sunset even earlier a few days later!  But like I said in my journaling, it is ok for me because I do not leave in the morning when it is dark and return in the evening after the sun has gone down.  I get to see the sun throughout the day.

I hope that you all have been inspired to create a layout that may not include a photo, something that only words can  capture.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Lunch with Tea Gram

Lunch with my mom is always a treat.  Whatever Roman wants, Roman gets!  The problem with this day, where we went was full of pastries and pies!  I loved this picture of the two of them.  You can almost see the almost, but not quite all the way there, cheesy smile from Roman.  Its hard to get a good picture of my mom too, she is always talking to the person with the camera in her face.  I guess not all of us can be models:o)  I get anxious too.  Oh well.

They both look like models here....

I am very Thankful for these two people and for such pretty paper:o)

This is when my pen leaked all over my page.  I made my dots larger and added a few more.  Can you tell?

This layout was created using the most beautiful paper line from Crate Paper.  Even a good looking boy can sport pink!

TFL,
Mary-Ann
