The Great Outdoors - Paper Issues

Morning.
There is a new issues on the Paper Issues blog today.  The theme is The Unbe-leafable Great Outdoors.  Suggested ideas are:  Fall, using leaves, camping, hiking, back to school.  All those not so fun outdoor activities!!

I had another photo from our Baxter camping trip to document.  I used Carta Bella Great Outdoors.  When I say the quality of this paper is by far the best, I mean it.  It is so sturdy and thick, I just love it.

Go to the Paper Issues Store to grab this collection for yourself.  Add anything else to the cart if you want and use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire collection.  Free shipping when you hit $60.00.

BOSTON - Paper Issues

It is time for the New Issue over on the Paper Issues blog!!
The team gets a head start with the following prompts.....use a large, dramatic element on your page like a title, embellishment or photo; create a layout about your mom (or someone who's like a mom) and the things she says, the lessons she's taught you, how you're alike or how you're different; use the new PI llama card; create a project about a stage show, your favorite TV drama, a musical, etc.

You can participate too! You may even be featured on the blog. To enter with any of the above creations, go to the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Page to enter.

I chose a great big "dramatic" title.
For papers, I used Crate Paper Shine that is available in the Paper Issues shop for 20 % off with Code: Mary-Ann. It can be used on your entire order.

Apples - Paper Issues

Good morning.
Over at Paper Issues, we are having a New Issue Monday.  It gives you a chance to be inspired by a theme.  There are many different variants of the theme.  This time it is, Fan-atics.  Pretty much, show us what you are a fan of.  Sports team, collection, TV show, whatever.  I chose to share how much we love apples.  Mostly apple picking.

It is not very often that I start a layout with a huge photo.  I wanted to try something new.

I used Photo Play - Autumn Day along with a touch of Simple Stories enamels and brads, Doodlebug's mini Doodle Pops and Studio Calico Alphas and Seven Paper Die cut.
You can grab it over at the Paper Issues store for 20% off when you used code: Mary-Ann.

If you want to play along.  There are prizes to be won.  You could win a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Issues Store.  Just link up your project by November 8th for a chance to win.
