Brace Face - Paper Issues

I am hoping you have a little time tonight, to sit down with some of your kids candy and shop for the perfect paper collection to use for your photos from tonight.  When I was a kid, my dad used to eat some of our candy and tell us he had to test it, to make sure it was safe for us to eat.  So, I tell my boy that to this day, if he has my favorite candy in his bag!  On the Paper Issues Blog, the design team is showing you three different collections.  One is bound to be the right one for you.  Mix them up if you want!

For my project, I used Bella Blvd - Spooktacular!
Every year we carve.  I think they do it for me.  I just love it.  Roman got braces, right before Halloween.  I decide to try to do a pumpkin that had braces.  I think it came out great.  I just adore his face when I told him to smile and show the braces!  I hate that pumpkins don't last long.  I wish they could last for a month.

October Planning - mambi

This is this the first year that we are going ALL OUT with activities for Halloween.  We had a date night last week with an 'adults only' haunted house.  I am quite surprised that I survived being chased my a man with a chainsaw.  Anyway, for family fun, we had booked tickets to a trolley ride in Salem, MA (where the witches are)!  We also got tickets for a local park's Screamfest, last night we went to the Rise of The Jack-o-lanterns and Trick or Treat is on Halloween itself this year.  This CRAZY amount of fun requires diligent planning!  My layout looks busy, but there is still plenty of space for more tasks.

I have shared my planning layout on the me & my BIG ideas blog today with links to all the items that I used.

Lunch Date - A Flair for Buttons

Anytime, anywhere, you can convince my boy and I to go on a lunch date.  You mention Cracker Barrel and we are there!!!  Ever since my boy was little, we would carefully remove the paper piece that wraps the silverware.  Then make it into a circle and use it for binos.  Simple, free entertainment.  He also still likes to blow the straw wrapper which drives me insane.  Why?  Because it is always shot at me.  I am always opposite him and his dad.  Anyway, these photos are from our date a few months ago, still creating binos with paper rings.

So, today I am on the A Flair for Buttons Blog.  I love the flair I chose.  You can find all of Shelly's flair HERE in her ETSY Store.  I used Crate Paper Cool Kid that can be purchased at Paper Issues for 20% when you use code: Mary-Ann.
