Scouts - Paper Issues

I am getting so many pictures scrapbooked because of Paper Issues.  Today there is a new Sketchy Saturday Challenge on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans page.  You can also see a few DT members play along on the blog today.  That is where I will be.  I chose to participate in this sketch challenge and use a Swag Bag at the same time.  Unfortunately, it looks like this particular SB is sold out but there are a few others in the shop still.  My code: Mary-Ann will  get you 20% off your order.

Par-tay & 10 - Simple Stories

It is my second time blogging for the Simple Stories Design Team.  You can catch me over on their blog today with two new layouts using Let's Party.  Super, colorful and bright.  Good for any age, boy or girl.  I love it.  My fave has to be the chipboard cow and the balloons.

Here is my first layout:  I called it '10' - I finally documented last years bowling birthday party.   (notice half a cow?)

My second layout is called 'Party' - using the same paper line, achieving a totally different look.  I used a balloon cut file that did not work perfectly for my photos.  Head to the Simple Stories blog to see how it all finally came together.

Let's Bake Ma - A Flair for Buttons

 I have created this layout using Crate Paper Bloom by Maggie Holmes.  

My school colors were purple and gold!  This is a ton lighter in color but still reminds me of it.  

Bub loves to help me cook.  Specific things that is.  Tacos, so he can eat the meat.  Banana bread so he can lick the spoon.  He does love to chop.  I should use him more in the kitchen.  That is why I had a kid after all, right?  

Shelley has an amazing amount of flair in her ETSY shop.  I hope you'll stop over to at least take a look.  Each  time I look, I find something I didn't see before.  I often find a piece of flair that inspires a layout!
