Mini Address and Telephone Books - Fancy Pants

Morning!
When my chum lost all her important stuff on her phone, I decided I needed to write all of my information down on paper!  I created these little minis that will hold all of my important details in case I lose my phone.  Details are on the Fancy Pants blog today.  I would love it if you stopped over and said hello!

Choose Happy - A Flair for Buttons

Good morning.
I recently came across these Christmas photos, that capture the relationship between these three kids.  They have know each other for 10 years now.  They actually met on Roman's first  birthday.  One minute they are bored and or fighting, the next, they are throwing a party and acting like fools.

Even though they are Christmas photos,  chose to capture the relationship not the time of year.
I am sharing this layout and the close ups over on the A Flair for Buttons blog.  I also tell you where to get these flair and what kind they are!  There are so many more to choose from too.
Head over to the AFB blog to see.

September 14-20 - mambi

Sometimes I just want tons of space to create on my planner pages.  I also need for it to be practical.  Punching holes in a protective page and in appointment cards makes planning a ton easier for me.  I scrap a lot and need to have things planned for upcoming assignments.  This works perfect.  Hear the entire story on the me & my BIG ideas blog today.

Thanks for stopping over.

18 - Paper camellia

For 18 years, (this November)  I will be married to this man.  We dated, if you will, for 4 years before that.  Sometimes, it doesn't seem that long.  I still feel too young to married almost 20 years.
Together, we have seen and done a lot of fun and amazing things.  We have traveled with the military, and traveled on vacations.  We are raising a beautiful boy with a big heart and have had several pets til the end.  When I say 18 years, that seems like forever, but when I look back, it doesn't seem that long at all.
This photo was taken at the batting cages here locally.  The sun shinning in the back is pretty cool but Randy thinks its a halo!  If it were, then it would be over MY head, not his!

Here is what I created with the September Paper Camellia Scrapbooking Kit.
I am over on the Paper Camellia blog today where I am share this layout.
When I saw the cork numbers, this is what popped in my head!  Well, the idea with the numbers anyway.  The rest built from there.  The majority of this layout is created with Crate Paper Wonder and the brads are from Simple Stories.

PS - the date stamp you see, that is from Studio Calico and it is NOT included in your main scrapbooking kit.  It is just a super cool date punch that I just bought!

4th Block Party - Paper Camellia

Today, I am over on the Paper Camellia blog.  This was the perfect piece of paper to create my layout for my recent block party, don't you think?  I was at my mom's house, on her kitchen table, cutting these houses into strips for about an hour!
It is definitely more fun to play with paper when others are with you.  It may have taken that long because of all of the chatting that was happening.  But, that is what makes it more fun.  My son would say funner!

I layered them and raise some with foam tape.  It is hard to see but it helped create a touch of dimension.  I love how it turned out.

If you are looking for a fun monthly scrapbooking kit to club to join, this one may be for you!
Go HERE to check to out.

Mad Science - The Rubber Cafe

Yup, it is the same mad scientist only used a bit differently.  For this card, she has a bubbly brew happening.  Head over to The Rubber Cafe  blog too see more!

Good morning!

Here is a peek!

VBS - A Flair for Buttons

I am over on the A Flair for Buttons Blog today the a gorgeous set of Have Faith Flair.
Roman has been attending this VBS or over 5 years now.  He was invited by friend from a town we lived in for a year.  We have been traveling back every since.  I was able to capture a photo of a photo that they were showing during the last day slide show.
When I asked him this year if he wanted to go again, he acted insulted, like of course he did!

Be sure to head over to Shelleys ETSY shop and try using some flair on your next project.

Sugar Rush - Paper Issues PaperPOPs Round-up

Not sure if you people have seen these incredible vinyl goodies that are exclusive to Paper Issues called PaperPOPs.  If you haven't, you must go to the website, HERE and check them out.

The Design Team is doing a little Round-up today on the Paper Issues Blog.
You will see several different ways to use these guys.  Whether it be on a scrapbooking layout, card or in your personal Planner, these PaperPOPs are uber cute.
The lady who makes these, Jen, also has a website called Parker on the Porch where she sells clothing, personalized items and more vinyl goodies.

Here is my recent layout with the fun PaperPOPs.
I used I Run on Dunkin PaperPOPs.  You have to go and read the other titles of the POPs.  They are hilarious and clever!

I used Elle's Studio, Let's Eat collection.  There is still some of this amazing line available in the Paper Issues store HERE.  There are also two brand new lines from Elle's Studio that entered the shop just yesterday!  Go HERE to see those!

Remember to use code: Mary-Ann for 20% off your entire order.  Even off of the PaperPOPs.

PS:  Parker on the Porch made me these cord wraps!!!!  She also made a friend some pugs.

Fall Checklist Planner - mambi

Morning!  If you were raised by a mother like mine, you know how important it is to spring clean and fall clean.  Yup, twice a year.  I wonder if that is because she had three daughters that would do it all for her.  hmmm!  Anyway, she taught me the importance of washing walls (yup, I am serious) and base boards.  Both, the worst jobs ever, besides scrubbing toilets when you live in a house full of boys.  Ahem.  You mothers of sons know exactly what I am talking about.

Anyway, I could go on about that topic forever.  Instead lets talk about planner stuff, that is WAY more fun.

Today I am on the mambi blog (me & my BIG ideas).  You can go there to see all of the really cool things the other DT members create with their planners.  I really enjoy the to-do section of the Home Planner addition.  I did not use your typical planner items for decorating it.  I used traditional scrapbooking items.  There is no rule, use whatever you and whatever you like.  I used Create A Happy Life transparencies, Arrow & Speech Bubbles, American Sweetheart Mini Banners, Pocket Page cards and random washi tapes that matched with my plan.

Use anything that makes you happy and your planner pretty!  That is my rule:o)  See you again soon!
