Happy - Paper Issues

Good morning.

When I opened the March Swag Bag and saw the toothpick thingy, I knew exactly what I was going to use for a photo. I have had this photo of my BFF and I from the USMC in 2013.  The gold frame was perfect for Kathy's dress and the purple touches were perfect for mine!
I also threw in some of  Glitter Girl by Shimelle.
A purple flair from A Flair for Buttons.

Space - Paper Issues

In 2015, my Parents went with us to Florida.  One of the days, we hit the Kennedy Space Center.
It was very interesting.  Roman played on all of the activities,
we touched moon rock and saw lots of rockets.

When My Mind's Eye produced this Blast Off collection,
it was perfect for documenting our day at KSC.  The paper is colorful, so I kept my photos flat on the page.  I also stitched through each color of the rainbow for with the coordinating colored thread.

I had also created a Pinspire Me Mood Board for March.  This layout works perfectly for this challenge.  I went off of the Space photo.

NASA - Paper Issues

Have you been playing along with the March challenges over at Paper Issues?
I have a fun one for ya.  It is called Frame it Up!
We want you to use up some of those frames and slide mounts that you have been hoarding.
Add one or as many as you want, whatever!
Add your project to our PIFF Frame it Up Challenge album and you are entered to win a prize.
It must be a NEW project and no double dipping!

I used My Mind's Eye Blastoff collection for this challenge.  I used up some of my old Crate Paper frames.  I am not sure what collection they came from but I have tons!

Artsy Fartsy - Fancy Pants

I am well known in the neighborhood as the lady with all the art supplies {probably like many of you}.  You need something done, chances are, I have the tools you need.  Assisting my little neighborhood pal on her 2nd grade art project was so much fun.    I wanted to be sure to document it.  I used the new The Bright Side Collection. For my layout, I wanted to ‘semi’-recreate the picture she completed.  So, I used a FREE cut file from Paper Issues- Sunburst Background, enlarged it to have the sun, overlapping the edge of the corner.  If I had thought in advance, I would have directly added my journaling to the sun rays.  Instead, I cut the strips of journaling and individually placed them on the rays.

Father's Day - Queen and Company

Morning.  Today I am sharing a layout on the Queen and Company blog.  I used the coolest Say Cheese Shaker kit to create a crossword puzzle.  Q&C has the most amazing bling and scrapbooking supplies.  If you LOVE to add small things or even shakers to your projects, head over to the Q&C website and check out what they have.

OMG you have to take a close look at this photo!!!!

The Good Stuff - Fancy Pants

My husband and I have been married over 20 years and together over 24. This is us, early on in our dating period.  I stumbled across this photo just last week before Valentines day.  We look like such babies.  I wanted to document it with product, worthy of hanging on the wall.  I had just revived my new goodie box  from Fancy Pants and The Bright Side collection had the perfect colors.

My mom gifted me tons of her buttons.  She even scrounged tons from her knitting group.  My step mother also gave me her mother's tin.  I can not tell you where these buttons came from, but I am certain they have a 20+ year story to tell too.

I love when the product itself, offers you titles with in the collection.  I used 'the good stuff' as my easy title.  I used piece of a cut file from The Cut Shoppe - Blooming Bouquets.  It added a little more depth to the  floral clump.
