This time, I scrap lifted Erika Breslin.  I have attached her original below mine.  I used Fancy Pants Side Kick Optional.  Grab anything from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

8th Grade - Paper Issues

I played along with the Scraplift challenge over at Paper Issues PIFF FB Page.
I have lost my mojo and have been in a crafting funk for some time now.
I have barely touched paper unless it has been an assignment and usually that is done at the last possible moment.  I needed this lift.  The original was so inspiring.

I grabbed it from the Paper Issues Store.
If you purchase anything from them, use code Mary-Ann for 20% anytime you order.

I also used the coolest flair from A Flair For Buttons ETSY shop.

Warm Drinks - Paper Issues

Hey folks!
I'm here with a fun challenge for you from Paper Issues....
However you want to interpret that is ok by them!  Create an entire layout with everything on an angle.  Apply your photos slightly askew or add something diagonally across the page.
This is certainly a fun challenge, bound to promote creativity!

PI has tons of challenge each month, over on the PIFF Facebook page.  Go check it out.

For this challenge, I used the Yellow Door collection from Fancy Pants.  The scalloped page screamed fussy cutting.  Even though I normally boycott fussy cutting, I managed to do ok with this! I might of had a little help from a friend who was over!  shhhh

Bake - Paper Issues

So, I decided to do a scraplift again!!
This time, Paper Issues chose a layout by Jen McMurtrey to lift on 1/20/19.
This challenge can be found on the Paper Issues PIFF Facebook page if you want to play along.

I have been addicted to the Yellow Door collection from Fancy Pants and have used it again.  I have almost used everything from this collection.  I am definitely running low of papers.  Maybe I'll grab more from the Paper Issues store.
You can too and get 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Lovely Day - Paper Issues

Need inspiration?
A scraplift is where its at.
But, it is very important to give credit where credit is due.

Every Sunday, Paper Issues chooses a layout from a DT member to lift.
For January 13th, Kat Benjamin's layout was chosen.

If you want to play along with this lift, go ahead and add your creation to the

I used Yellow Door Collection from Fancy Pants for todays layout.
Head to PI and get it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
Instead of solid papers like Kat
I pieced squares together to replicate an triangle of paper.

Here is Kat's original layout.

Road Trip - Fancy Pants

Morning!

Plans of a road trip in your near future?  Not long ago, we went to Philadelphia to see the sights.  There was so much to see, so we took public transportation with a tour to boot! The On Our Way collection was perfect for documenting our journey.  I wanted white space with a corner for journaling.

You can see that I used a cut file to the right of my photo.  Its a FREE file from Paper Issues.  I used vellum over the clouds and added the title to my layout.

I love using foam to raise a piece of ephemera for dimension.  I did just that with the suitcase over the 3x4 Brag Card.  I loved the llama.  I had to use him peeking out around the card.

Hope you will use the On Your Way collection to document your recent road trips.  It has great colors and pieces to help tell your story.

Zoo - Fancy Pants

There is a new travel collection over on the Fancy Pants sister site,
Make a Pretty Life called On Our Way.  It is filled with non-traditional colors and I love it.
It can be used in so many ways.  I used it for a Zoo layout today.

We had gone to Fort Worth Texas to see our chums and we took a trip to the zoo one day.
Randy and I had been there before when we lived in Oklahoma.
We wanted Roman to experience how big and beautiful a zoo could be and
see where we had once ventured without him.
It is hard to imagine life without this kid or these friends.

Adventure - Fancy Pants

Good morning!

It almost seems fitting to have a great big road sign for a road trip, right?  Well I found a FREE cut file from Paper Issues that works perfectly for the On Our Way Collection from Fancy Pants.  It is called Travel Signs.

I started with the road map paper, cause its my fave!  I then cut out the cut file and layered my ephemera and photos.  Thats it.  With the large road sign, there was not room for much else.

I wasn't sure where to place my journaling.  So I printed it really small across the white stripe on the cut file.  Perfect place for it and it does not interfere with the flow of the page.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Get out those travel photos and get them scrapped!
