Knight - Paper Issues

Morning!

The Spotlight is on the new Echo Park, Once Upon a Time collection on the Paper Issues Blog today. I dug deep for Bubba's 6th birthday party at a really fun place in Amesbury. The boys did a little fighting and dressed up like knights.  They had so much fun.  I can not believe how small they look in this photo.

I also used some FREE cut files from the Paper Issues Store.  This one is called Dragon Tails and Adventures.  But, there are so many more, so be sure to go look.

My sister and her husband, took my family to a concert last year on the Bangor Waterfront.  It was Bub's first concert and we had a blast.

Stop over to the Q&C blog for more details.

Trumpets Blow - Paper Issues

Join the Paper Issues Design Team and play with one of the funnest little packet of bits and pieces.  It is created from new projects.  Giving you a chance to see the collections without the commitment.  I love them.  I still buy all the collections but these are just really fun for me.

This layout is of Bub processing for band.
He is not a fan.  I told he can quit and join chorus if he wants.  He is sticking with band.  lol.  When I saw the  golds in the April Swag Bag, I scrounged up this fun gold trumpet photo!

Woof - Paper Issues

Join some of the PI team on the Paper Issues blog today sharing 3 reasons why I love my pet.  Well, besides the obvi.  Ha!  She's sexy and thats really all she needs.  Anyway, I played along and used Doodlebug Puppy Love from the Paper Issues Store.  You too can play along for a chance to win a prize.  Upload your pretties to the PIFF FB page HERE.

The large frenchies that you see are from a calendar I had last year.  Beware, I have 9 more!!!  I covered some with brown papers to tone them down and match the layout.  I left the black alone.

Ben Franklin - AFB

Seems like so long ago my boy had a fun project to due.  He had to give a speech and dress as the character.  I absolutely love how dedicated he was to the entire project.  Look how adorable he is in his soccer socks, pulled up black sweats, dads oversized white shirt, an old black shirt cut into a vest and homemade bald head!  I can't help but smile.

This handsome guy is on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.
Head on over to see where you can grab these beautiful flair and find more inspiration.

I grabbed the paper collection from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Welcome Baby - Paper Issues

Morning and welcome to the NEW Pinspire Me Mood board.  It is live over on the Paper Issues Blog today and I hope you'll stop over to see what the team has brought to the table.  I created a fun layout....the journaling is very important!  VERY.  I did not waste hours and hours watching something that I thought was never going to happen anyway.  See below!

Anyway, here is a peek at the board.  It is super fun and clean.

Here is my layout.  I used the new Doodlebug At The Zoo.  They have so many of the new Doodlebug collections in the PI Store.  Get it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann

Frito Fight - Paper Issues

Happy National Scrapbooking Day craft friends and normal family!  ha.
It is a huge day in the industry.  Everyone is celebrating with challenges, blog hops or whatever.  Paper Issues is celebrating with new challenges to win amazing prizes.  I created a mood board for inspiration.  Create something from this board and submit it to Paper Issues PIFF page to have a chance to win.

Here is the board...

I drew from the rainbow colors in the umbrella and picked up on the reds too.

I used Family & Co by Fancy Pants.  I love the colors and they worked perfect for this challenge.  I do have to say that my dad is not the best influence on my kid.  They fight.  This fight was literally over Fritos.  Who has the bag in this photo?  Who is the biggest kid?  Some just never grow up.

Ghostbusters - Paper Issues

I tried my hand at a newer title challenge  over at Paper Issues called Working Title run by Amanda Baldwin.  For the May challenge, she asks that we bend our titles. Make it round, curvy or wavy.  A bright idea came to mind immediately!  I had asked my chum Mary Ann Jenkins to make me a Ghostbusters sign months ago and decided to finally use it!

Bub and I went on a date a while ago to see Ghostbusters.  He knows how much I love photos and photo props so he automatically walked over to the cardboard stand up.  I had no idea he would pose like this and act so goofy.  I love it when I don't have to beg.

I used left over bits from Carta Bella Space Academy and Crate Paper Cool Kid.  All still available in the Paper Issues store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

T-Gram - Paper Issues

This time last year, we found out my mom was sick.  She is way better now but I took these photos of her and my boy having a Tea Party.  I put out cookies and put a table cloth down to amp up the party. They had fun while I photographed it.  I love how much he loves her.

So, today there is a new issue over on the Paper Issue blog.  We are assigned a topic and this months is Mom-o-gram.  Create something with a monogram, fancy letters, about mom or grandmothers.  Anything like that.  (There is more information on their blog.)

I stuck with the grandmother theme and used Pebbles - Tealightful collection, which was perfect for this layout.  My mom is an avid tea drinker that is why we have always called her T-gram.

Grab this collection or anything else you may need for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.
