Baseball - AFB

It is my turn on the A Flair for Buttons blog today.  Hoping you will stop over to the ETSY shop and check out the best flair there is.  There are so many options to chose from, I am sure there is something for you.  You can add magnets to the back or pins!  Your choice.

This is from the end of season last year.  It was not a great year but these boys played their hearts out.  They had a great time together and developed friendships that I hope will last throughout their baseball 'career.'

I used Simple Stories Baseball Mini Collection and left lots of white space.  I use a piece of flair from the Baseball Flair set and one from the At the Fair set.

Sweet - Queen & Co.

I have a fun layout over on the Queen and Company blog today.
My assignment was to use Washi Tape.
I applied strips to scrap cardstock and punched out circles.
Circles were perfect for my photo. They kinda replicate gumballs.
The store of the bubble gum machine is in my journaling on the layout below.

Head over to the Queen & Co. blog HERE.

Hot Dog - Paper Issues

Ad you know, I create a mood board once a month for the Pinspire Me Challenge over at Paper Issues.  I do the blog post with all of the fun DT layouts then sit around and wait for the amazing fan projects!  Playing along enters you into a drawing for a month prize.

Here is the Pinspire Me Mood Board...  gorgeous isn't it!
I may have had something in mind when I designed it.

Here is my take on the board.  I was inspired by the colors along with the obvious!!!  I used Shimelle Little by Little, available in the PI Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Funny Farm - A Flair for Buttons

Good morning.

These boys are crazy together.  Doesn't help that Randy will buy them CANDY cigarettes.  We were in PA, to meet the boys and pick them up.  In a fun little market, in the center of Philly, they had a candy store with all the candy we used to have when we were kids.   Including these fun candies.

I really wanted to play with the Bella Blvd Barnyard collection.  They were perfect with the photo and flair that I had selected.  You can get it from Paper Issues for 20% off with Code: Mary-Ann.

So, I am on the A Flair for Buttons Blog today.  Using the perfect flair to help highlight the craziness of these memories.  Go HERE to see all of Shelley's fun flair!

Best Crew Ever and Whale Watching - Queen & Co.

I hope you will join me on the Queen and Company blog today.  I am sharing two different layouts with their Foam Front Shaker sets.  Although these Foam Fronts were designed for cards, they can be used on Layout's as well.

I loved the idea of our Whale Watching trip from 2012.  It was our last excursion of the weekend before school started.  I used watercolor paper and some paint to get the whole splashing water effect.    For all the fun items I used, head over to the Q&C blog.

For my second layout, I used a bunch of leftover Crate Paper to show that you can also use patterned papers with the Foam Fronts.  Here I used the Solo Heart Foam Front.

We were in Texas when I took this photo of my favorite boys.
I love Bub's shirt!  He wasn't grumpy, the sun was in his eyes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Head to the Q&C blog to see the rest!

Corny - Paper Issues

Did you know that ALL of Paper Issues cut files are FREE?
Yup, every single one.
I used the cut file from the store that was created for the PI Spring Crop. It is called Magic Unicorn.
The challenge is called Cut The Crop.  you can use any cut from the store or any printable that is there.

For the paper, I used Bella Blvd Addison.  Also, available in the
PI Store for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Better Together - Paper Issues

Last summer at a Lobster BBQ, these two got to hang out.
They are cousins (by owners) and don't get to see each other very often.  They do have a good time.  Ozzy, the handsome boxer, is pretty old but thinks he is a spring chicken when Flo comes around.

I used My Mind's Eye Hey Mister from the Paper Issues store.  You can grab it for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.  It would be great for Father's day or any masculine project.  I love the bulldogs throughout the collection.

I Can't Even Stand It - Paper Issues

What do I even need to say?

This photo has to be the best photo in history.  Right?  My girl usually stays clear of the pool.  This is not a common sight.  But my boy in the pool, that is all the time!!

I created this layout for the fun Spring Crop over at Paper Issues.
It is for the Around The Bend Challenge.  You are supposed to journal around your photo or page,  Instead, I did a title around the port hole!  It kinda fits!!!

I used Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea collection.  It is available over at Paper Issues for 20% off using code: Mary-Ann.

Besties - Paper Issues

I played along with the Paper Issues Spring Crop this past week.  This is for the Freaky Friday Challenge where you change up papers.  For example, you use boy paper on a girl layout or like I did here, used girl paper on a boy layout.  Its kinda cheating for me since I have a girl dog!!!  Shhhh

See the large white puppy?  That was a stand up calendar from last year.
I couldn't throw it away, so YOU will be seeing them over and over.
Or at least until the 12 are used up!

I used Heart Day by Crate Paper that you can grab in the PI store.
I also used the best flair ever from A Flair for Buttons.  That's where I  got my title from!

If you shop at Paper Issues, used code: Mary-Ann for 20% off.

Jumbo Snickers - Paper Issues

Once a month, on a Sunday, Paper Issues does a Swag Bag Challenge, called Swag Bag Sunday.  Well, today is the day.  This month the Swag Bag was filled with sweet treats.  Like, lots of donuts and pinks.

Right after Christmas, I bought this Snickers bar for Roman for 27 cents.  (Where is the cents symbol?)  Anyway, it took him days to eat.  Like, lots of days.  It was huge.  I have never scene anything like it in my life!

Here is a look at my layout.  Go to Paper Issues and use code: Mary-Ann for anything that you see.  Get 20% off with it.  You could enter this challenge and win a prize too.  Go to the PIFF page for instructions.

Playing along with the Paper Issues PIFF March Crop

Play along with my challenge if you dare!!
It is an ALL patterned paper challenge.  You can use ephemera and things but NO cardstock.
The challenge is called Live Out Loud.
