Good Times - Paper Issues

Sometimes the crazies over at Paper Issues decide to throw an impromptu crop.
This weekend happens to be one.

I have a challenge for the masses....
Pile it On.

Add as many different things that you can.  Each different thing worth 1 pt.  Goal is to reach 10 pts.
So chipboard, 1 point no matter how many pieces you use, enamels, stickers, etc.
It was much harder that I imagined.

I used Spellcast from Pink Paislee.
1. Patterned Paper
2. Cut File (FREE from the PI store - Love you to the Moon and Back.)
3.  Cling Label
4. Chipboard
5. Washi Tape
6. Ephemera
7. Puffy Stickers
8. Stickers
9. Flair
10. Enamels
11. Date Stamp
12. Thickers
13. Sequins

Last year we took my boys chum, Jayden.  We had a great time.  The screamed like girls and clung on like babies but it was fun.  We went through several Haunted Houses.
At the end of the night, there was a parade.  The light would blink different colors, making the photos a different color.  I thought it was cool, so I created a photo strip.

Selfie Stick - Paper Issues

Hey there!
I love new things.  A few years ago, they came out with the Selfie Stick.  I got one for Christmas.  You all know what it is, but will our grandkids know?  I am sure there will be things that come along that are much much better than a Selfie Stick.
So the day after Christmas, the three of us were giving it a try.  None of us knew where to look and my mom would not stop moving her mouth for a good photo!

Anyway, I wanted to document that, along with my crazy husband so I used a Swag Bag from Paper Issues to create something fast and easy.

I started with the bag and just two really old punches that I had.  Boom.  Layout done!

Go grab a Swag Bag or sign up for the monthly Swag Bag.  Its like Christmas to your door.
Remember to use code: Mary-Ann for anything in the Paper Issues store.  You get 20% off.

Join the Paper Issues team as we celebrate my favorite month, October, with a little challenge called Rocktober.  We are giving you prompts for the season, an reasons to document your fun family times.

I played along using Pebbles Midnight Haunting.
The collection is a little spooky and a little cute!

YAY - A Flair for Buttons

We love a good fair and the Topsfield one is pretty great. We have tried to go the last few years.  We love to eat the junk and ride the rides.  Roman is the most daring.  If I ride anything that spins, I am done for the day.  Maybe even a few days!

So, today, I am on the A Flair for Buttons blog with a fun layout using the Maggie Holmes Carousel collection, a FREE Carousel Cut File from Paper Issues and 4 different sets of flair from A flair for Buttons to replicate the seats on the ride.

I grabbed this collection from Paper Issues for 20% off with code: Mary-Ann.

Carve it Up - Paper Issues

Being October, Paper Issues thought it would be fun to do a Rocktober tribute over on their Facebook page (PIFF!)  I received a large Swag Bag-ish style pouch filled with goodies for a travel journal or a layout.  What ever you may want.  I decided to get some of my photos documented from last year.

I did grab 2 larger 12x12 papers from Pebbles and Thickers to add to the kit.

Here are the prompts if you want to play along.

Halloween - Fancy Pants

Fancy Pants has teamed up with Pagemaps for a little product, sketch swap.  I was lucky enough to get to play along.
Below is the sketch that I was given to create off of.  Of course, I was completely inspired and couldn't help but use a cardboard french bull dog calendar that I had.  I covered him with stripped paper that matched the inmate theme.  Instead of 9 photos or papers, I used 4 larger photos.

For the papers, I used the new Spellbound collection from Fancy Pants.  It is so adorable.
