Field Day - Fancy Pants

Fancy Pants collaborated with PageMaps for a fun change for the Design Team.  We were assigned a sketch and were asked to use Fancy Pants products.  

Here is the Sketch...

I used Family & Co. for my layout and had fun documenting my boy at his preschool field day.  Unfortunately, as happy as he looks in these photos, later in the day he wasn't so thrilled.  His little pal fell on him and he broke his arm.  Poor kid.  We realized something was wrong after 10 days, he could not sword fight with his Dad!  #truestory!  Actually, at the time of the fall, he had X-rays and the break did not show up.  AND - I was out of town for the weekend!!

I did shrink down the sketch a bit, made my papers smaller and used horizontal photos instead of 4 vertical ones.  

Journal Address Book - Fancy Pants

I changed a journal book into an address book as a gift for a friends.

Real Life Crazy! - Fancy Pants

Look how cute and small my baby boy was.  I miss this stage.  He was crazy and fun.  

Today, I am on the Fancy Pants blog, sharing a layout with four or more photos.  

It was easy for me.  The combination of these photos tell a story.  You can tell

how much fun he was having, wearing his dad's USMC Drill Instructors hat.  

How could I have narrowed down these photos anyway, they are all too cute.

Frito Fight - Paper Issues

Happy National Scrapbooking Day craft friends and normal family!  ha.  

It is a huge day in the industry.  Everyone is celebrating with challenges, blog hops or whatever.  Paper Issues is celebrating with new challenges to win amazing prizes.  I created a mood board for inspiration.  Create something from this board and submit it to Paper Issues PIFF page to have a chance to win.

I drew from the rainbow colors in the umbrella and picked up on the reds too.

I used Family & Co by Fancy Pants.  I love the colors and they worked perfect for this challenge.  I do have to say that my dad is not the best influence on my kid.  They fight.  This fight was literally over Fritos.  Who has the bag in this photo?  Who is the biggest kid?  Some just never grow up.
