Minion 2013

Last year for Halloween, Bubba was a minion from the movie Despicable Me.
He was so excited to help pull together the costume.  I had to look long and hard for the mustard hat with matching t-shirt.  To tell you the truth, it was harder to find the shirt than the hat.  $.99 at Target for the cap and way too much for the shirt!  The overalls could only be found in the mens section at Wal-Mart.  We cut 17 feet off of the length for them to fit.  The glasses, well, we found those at Michael's for a buck!  Although they gave him a headache, they were the icing on the cake.
Once I got the cap, we added black pipe cleaners up through the top for hair!!
Flo was a security guard and the creeper in the window, that is just his dad!

Bubba was able to wear the costume a couple places.  To the school fundraiser haunted hay rides and for Trick or Treat.  He walked in to the fundraiser slightly embarrassed until he realized he had the coolest costume there and everyone was talking about it!
I think he could have won the contest, if they would of had one:o)

This year, unfortunately, he does not want to be CUTE.
Guess what that means!!!  You will have to wait and see.
You can bet my layout won't be bright and colorful!

Anyway, this layout!

  1. This layout rocks, Mary-Ann!! I love the Yellow, Black and White color scheme and the way you used the cut file around your page! So fun!!

  2. Stinkin' funny and cute! Our dude was Ferb last year. One wouldn't think finding a yellow polo shirt would be hard. In October, one would be wrong. The purple sweat pants were so much easier.
