I have been "Spotted" over at Jillibean!!

I am so excited to be"spotted" over at Jillibean Soup!
For those of you who do not scrapbook, and are just hanging out here cause you like me, "spotting" means that a manufacturer has noticed something that you have created using their product.  Either through sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or emailing them directly.  They think your stuff is "cool" and share it on their own manufacturing blog.  So, it's pretty cool!

This is the layout that they spotted!

This layout was created with Eclectic Papers kit of the month club!
YAY!!!

MADE MY DAY

When I was traveling last year, Randy sent me this picture of Roman via text doing a hand heart with the biggest bottom lip ever!  I knew it was for effect but it still made it hard to be away.  Not that I am thrilled about having knee replacement, but it has kept me put for the meantime.  I love being home with my boys.  This is the first time in about 5 years that I have not traveled for the summer.  I thought that summers would last longer because we wouldn't be so busy.  WRONG!  I have something in my calendar for every day in July.  Summers are so short here in New England and the time certainly flies by.

I loved this project life card by Pink Paislee that was included in my eclectic Paperie Kit of the Month.  It had the perfect sentiment except what was right on the top.  Since I have covered it, I can not remember what it actually said.  I like my title better anyway:o) Plus I needed to tie in a little o f the cream color.

Of course, I threw in a touch of flair from A Flair for Buttons.  Perfect color, perfect saying!

Thanks for taking a peek at my layout and my favorite guy.

See you all again real soon.

Lunch with Pals

Hey there.

Just complete a blog post for eclectic Paperie for tomorrow.  I must say whoever it is that is putting those kit club products together is a rock star!!!  Oh wait, its me!!  It is really fun sharing with local peeps and people from afar.  It is cool that eP provides space for those who are local and mails it to others, no matter where they are.  May's kit is pretty cool.  Here is a peek at the overall kit.

This is a layout I created for the club and am using it as my blog post for today.

Head on over to the blog for more details about this KOTM and how you can sign up.

cause i feel like it

Hmmmm, seems like that is a common phrase that spews out of my sons mouth lately.  Is it the age?  Hormones?  Sassiness?  Like I have said before, he is just like his daddy.  Because it can't be me!  He just looks so handsome in these photos.  Don't ya think?  He wanted to dress up for school, cause he felt like i t!
Here is another layout create with the monthly club kit from Ink About It.  The line is Teresa Collins - Stationary Noted.  I used the papers, journaling card paper, die cut accessories, decorative buttons, chipboard, enamel dots and banner all from the same line.  I chose a stripped paper for the border, and make it a little chunkier than normal.  This red strip complimented the jacket.  I tucked a pocket behind the right photo to add my journaling.  I used my Cameo Silhouette again for the heart bubble and the arrows.  The black and white stripped paper is from October Afternoon.  The little journaling cards would be just perfect for Project Life but I layered with them.  I love the owl - makes the whole thing look "Smart!"

Thanks for stopping in.
