mambi BLOG HOP
Welcome to the new 2016-2017 Happy Planner™ BLOG HOP
featuring posts by the me & my BIG ideas Design Team!
I’m excited to show you the style of my new Botanical Garden Happy Planner and share how I plan to use it come July.
I love fresh, clean, crisp paper and cannot wait to get into this planner. It is seriously driving me crazy!
I plan to keep my cover clean. I will be using the Elastic Bands to assist me with flipping to the month I am currently in.
I plan to use the Pocket Folders and Sticky Notes each month and will move them at the end of each month to the next.
For each week, I will have a running grocery list or random to-do list that does not warrant documenting on the calendar pages. I will also move the plastic Dashboard that will hold the super cute Sticky Notes.
Each week will hold a plastic Page Protector to capture some of my favorite photos of the week and Pocket Cards. Maybe there will end up being two for each week. Who knows.
I also used both of the Pen Holders. Honestly, I could use more. I did select my favorite pen and always need my pencil nearby. Best thing about these, they can be removed from the cover and placed on a different one. That way, if you can make up your mind on which cover you want, they will move!
I am saying all of this now, lol. Hoping that I appear organized. But, with crafting, things always change. I think this is a great start for jumping off on July 1st. I hope you will all be with me!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Man I Love you and Family - Simple Stories
Good Morning!
I am super excited to be on the Simple Stories blog for the first time today as one of their new designers!! I have created with Simple Stories product forever! It is almost unbelievable. I am pretty thrilled. They require that you post two projects on each blog post. The theme for this post was 'love.' Well, you all know I love my main man, but I love my handsome boy and my mom too. So I thought I would do projects revolving around them for todays post.
For the above project I used Life in Color. See the name display in the bottom right corner..... thats me!
I dug deeper into my stash for We Are Family to complete this layout.
PLEASE, if your my friend or family! Go to the Simple Stories blog and tell them how much you love my layouts, not me, they will know your my fam:o)

Cheers to You - The Rubber Cafe
The Rubber Cafe is back and better than ever! We have all rested over the holidays and are ready to get crafting with a new Graphic Designer and new ideas. Here is my first card for the February Creative Cafe KOTM - Follow your Dreams. I used the add-on stamp set - Feeling Lucky. OMG is this little guy cute or what! He doesn't come with such a big hat or big mustache but I couldn't help but add these extras onto him. Lets look, but for more, you will have to go to The Rubber Cafe blog.

love - A Flair for Buttons
Join me over on the A Flair for Buttons blog. I have chopped up paper and paired it with my favorite flair. I used Crate Paper Hello Love.
This was before the Pats game last year. Whenever I would say smile, I would get a look like this. Usually involving his tongue. Now, I get dirty looks. I am not sure what I like better:o)

It is Product Spotlight again over at Paper Issues. Crate Paper's Hello Love is absolutely gorgeous. You have go to the Paper Issues Blog and see what other team members have created using the same product.
I used Wink of Stella, which is a brush pen that makes things glitter. You can not see it here but it really made my flowers look even prettier if that is possible!
