I found s sketch on line that I was inspired by, so here is what I was able to create for you. Where ever my son is, my dog assumes she is welcome there too. If the kid is on the bed, so is she. If he is in the bathroom, so is she. If he is outside, so is she, on the couch....you get the point! I just loved this photo, and like I have said before, its not often that I get to work with pinks and pastels in an almost all boy household! I tried my hand at a mask again for this layout, you will see that in one of the closeups further down the post. It is a very subtle "Polka Dotty" pattern in the background. Studio 490 Stencils by Wendy Vecchi are laser-cut, heavy plastic stencils designed for use with all wet media. I used Tattered Angels, Chalkboard Glimmer mist - French Vanilla along with an older Key Lime Pie that I had on hand. I then cut my polaroid frame from the white word print paper from Simple Stories - Vintage Bliss 6x6 Paper Pad. I raised this frame with Scotch Mount foam tape. Then, I scattered Maya Roads - You've Been Framed Wood Embellishments backed with random patterns of Vintage Bliss paper. I did not want the detail that was imprinted on these frames so I flipped them over and got a cleaner, less detailed look. Maya Road - Vintage Butterfly Pins added just the right detail to my layout. I pulled the butterfly off of one of the pins, and placed it near center of my page. A few enamel dots to accentuate my frames, starburst circle punches, various chipboard letters, a tag and twine complete the look. Of course, all of these beautiful items can be purchased here!
Hope you have an amazing day. Thanks for looking.
