Forever Fab - Pretty Little Studio

Hey friends! I'm on the Pretty Little Studio Blog today sharing a layout with the newer paper collection - Miss Sadie Rose! It is elegant, soft and full of gorgeous patterns. I instantly thought about my nieces wedding and my other nieces baby shower! To me, it can be very versatile!

This is my crazy sister.  She lost her shoe in the middle of walking down the isle with my great niece after she 'forced' herself into the wedding.  It was hilarious and you can bet, we have not let her live it down.

Beach Bound - Queen & Company

 Hey there.
Just take a look at the new Beach Bound Kit from Queen and Company.
I love it so much.  I created the layout during a FB live over HERE.  Then I created this card during a different live, HERE.  I have decided that I will NEVER create with Queen again without the Outline Dies.  They made making the shakers so much easier.   Almost every collection is being created with a new matching Solid 6x6 Paper pad.  The one to match the Beach Bound kit is gorgeous.

If you want to shop anything Queen & Co., here is the link, HERE.  It is an affiliate link so it does not cost you anything extra.  It gives me a little reward if you choose to shop through my link.  Thank you so much.

Double Trouble - Paper Issues

Guys, this layout looks like I threw up product all over the place.
I swear I had a plan in mind and then it got busy busy.  I created this layout LIVE over at Paper Issues Friends and Fans FB group.  You can go see it HERE.  I used Shimelle Never Grow Up and lots of it!  I had to use the dog.  Then I had to use the dandelions that look like marijuana. Then I had to use the bird.  It just kept going on and on.  I started out by scrap lifting myself.
That always makes a layout easier to pull together.

However, there is nothing easy, at least on the eyes, going on here.

Summer - Paper Issues

Nothing like vacation in the Dominican and swimming with Dolphins.  We had the best time last year.  We all want to go back so bad.  Maybe our next trip will be Jamaica.  It is in the planning stages.  Hope we can travel next summer.

Anywho, we are playing Follow the Leader over at Paper Issues right now for the Summer Crop.  We started with a layout by Jennifer McMurtrey, it gets siphoned throughout about 10 people and I am the last one!  Right before me was Sindi Jeffers.  I'll show you their layouts below.

Here is the original layout by Jennifer.....

Here is the one by Sindi that was right before me....

It is pretty cool to see how they change so much as they go through people.  It is almost like the telephone game we played in Girl Scouts when we were kids!  Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Camper - Paper Issues

You guys, my title may be happy camper but I gotta tell you he was NOT!

We dropped him off at a Boy Scout Camp for the week.  Randy went and met him 1/2 way through but he still hated it.  Hated it cause he always wants his dad to go to.  I bet later in life he will have fond memories and say it was a good time.  I hope.

Over at Paper Issues, there is a Camp Crop going on.  It doesn't have to be about camping but I saw this Happy Camper FREE cut file and had to use it.  So this layout is more about the art and the love of crafting than the itty bitty sized photo that I shrunk to fit in the door!

I did a FB Live video to create this bad Larry.  You can find it HERE. Along with the Free file, I used Simple Stories Vintage Great Escape.  For the love of mushrooms, I just can't get enough.  I have more ephemera and sticker but have run out of paper!  Who would have thought mushrooms would be all the rage?

Awesome 48 - Pretty Little Studio

Today is my first blog post over at Pretty Little Studio!

I hope you'll go over and check out all the really fun collections Melissa has to offer.  If you like rainbows and vintage, you will love all of her graphics.  The collection I used today is Color Me Happy.

I love a patterned background. The polka dots on this paper are what I needed to get inspired to document my birthday. The Northern Lights paper begged for me to cut it. I used faux stitching and layered a couple of the Journaling Blocks behind my photo strip along with a black piece of card stock for an anchor!

Baseball - Paper Issues

Nothing worse than having an entire post written and then its gone!

So today I am sharing a layout I created for the Paper Issues Camp Crop that is from Aug 14-16th.    There is loads of inspiration, challenges and prize to be had.  I am playing along with the Star Gazer Challenge.  Each challenge you play along with, you earn a badge.  Just like summer camp or Girl Scouts!

I used Carta Bella Baseball and used a piece of flair from A Flair for Buttons.  The cut file is FREE from the Paper Issues store and called USA Star.

Paradise - Paper Issues

Hey friends.  I've been out kissing dolphins.

Not really.  This was last year.  But I was kissing dolphins, seals and seal lions.  I had a ball.  Probably more fun than my fam cause I love animals so much.  I think Roman has my animal loving heart too.  He is super kind.  Anywho, I am here to share a layout for Paper Issues - Free File Feature.  For this feature, a few of us used the same cut file - Geometric Hexagon.  ALL of the cut files over at Paper Issues are FREE!  Download them all if you want.  May take a minute or two but I highly recommend it.

Here is what I created.  I used Bella Blvd Island Escape and a few other things too.

I used the Geometric Cut File as is.  I used the center of the hexagon as a template to cut my photo so it would be in the same shape for the center of the layout.  I cut triangles from random papers in the collection.

Here is my layout and under that is the cut file!

Bon Jovi - Paper Issues

 Hey friends!

A few years ago, my friend, her sister and I went to a Bon Jovi concert.  It was marvelous.  We planned to go again this year, but was cancelled recently due to the Corona.  I remembered I hadn't yet scrapped the first photos so I dig them out for this project.

Last Thursday night, myself and two other gals from Paper Issues got together and create LIVE on the PIFF FB using the same Nothin' but the Kitchen Sink kit.  You can grab kits from Paper Issues.  We created different teams.  Team Yellow (ME!), team pink and team gray. There really isn't anything special about being on a team other than the color.  You don't know what team you are on until you get your kit.  Kinda fun for this one.

Passionately Curious - Paper Issues

Since last nights video was a debacle, I decided to do another FB Live today to
make up for the one last night.
I used the same Scralift Layout, the Same Paper Collection but better wifi connection.
Today, I turned the sketch on its side.  See below.

Again, I let the Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Pad do all the work.  Plus lifting MandaJane's ayout makes it easy too.

Going Places - Paper Issues

Hey there!
To be honest, it was a nightmare.  It was blurry, kept going in and out for me and freezing.
But, the layout came out ok!
It was Scraplift Sunday and we listen MandaJane.  I added her layout under mine.

I used Vicki Boutins Mixed Media Paper Pad.  OMG let me tell you how easy it makes for pulling a layout together!  All the work is done for you.  ALL OF IT! Then, with it being a lift, the design work is also done for you.  Win win!!

These photos are from my boys 8th grade graduation.  His hair is so much longer now.
I forgot that I need to reprint the left photo of him and I.
I crossed it out for some reason and slapped that puppy right down on my layout.
I'll fix it.  lol
