Over at Two Peas they are having a challenge for Echo Parks "Note to Self" collection.  Since I just bought it at my last convention, I thought I would give it a whirl.  I printed my own pics like I always do and applied them straight down on the chipboard to cover pretty much the whole page of the album.  I could have printed smaller pics but I liked this look.  I used a Maya Road mini album and some May Arts brown ribbon.  Don't you just love the viewfinder paper???

Thanks for stopping in.  Looking forward to the local scrapbooking show right here in Manchester.  I am off to be a farm hand with The Button Farm.

April Color Challenge at Crate

Because I have a trip to leave on today, I am scrapping instead of packing.  I think this is a repeat offense.  Anyway, here is what I designed for the Crate Paper challenge over at their blog.  Check it out!

Oh, I spent the night at the Science Museum in Boston Friday night with my boys cub scout group.  Oh what fun until I realized my head was right under the snake cage.  NOT COOL!  Wasn't til morning that I saw the 3" thick snake in the cage.  I would have switched sides with Roman:o)  That for sure would have gotten me Mother of the year!  Here are a couple of fun pics from that night.  See you all next week, for I am off on vacation for a few days:o)

Easter Weekend

It all started with a sleep over Friday night with his buddy Alex.  This is Roman's first.  Of course they were not more than two inches away from each other at any time.  Here is a picture of the cards that I made for the some people.  I thought it was bright and cheerful.  I used my scraps from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper line.  What stunk was, they are too fat for regular mail (because of the pom poms and button), so there is one, still sitting in my kitchen waiting to be taken to the post office.

Not sure why this picture is so cloudy?

My mom and sister came Saturday for the festivities.  We colored eggs.  I should have boiled more, didn't realize that the adults would have as much fun.  I think Mamut colored more than Roman:o)

Perfection!!!  Those will be turned into deviled eggs in the am!

Tea Gram:o)

We came down in the morning to see what the bunny brought.......only eggs!  No basket????  5 minutes later at 6:45, did I say 6:45????  Yes, at 6:45, the doorbell rang and the Easter  bunny was at our door.  He must have forgotten to leave the basket when he hid the eggs.  We think the dog scared him away too soon so he had to come back.

"Mom, do you know how I know that the Easter Bunny is real?"  "No, how?" "Because he can't talk!"  Pure innocence and belief.  I don't think it will last that much longer.  He failed to see the large zipper in the back of the bunny suit or the skin between his glove and sleeve that peeked out cause the costume was too short!!!  I love this stage.

Roman and Mamut.

For those of you wondering, YES they do make one piece Pj's big enough for my boy!!

"Look mom, I'm a candy millionaire!!!"

I wish I could stop time, he is growing way to fast.  Praise God for your blessings.  I am grateful for so much, even my crazy family!

Peace,

SNAPSHOTS

Hi!
I have been gone for a few days to Kentucky.  What a beautiful area.  I loved the weather, not too hot, not too cold.  Before I left, I had been scrapping and I created this SNAPSHOTS album with one of my new favorite releases from Dear Lizzy.  It is called Neapolitan.  Reminds me of ice cream.  But, just the vanilla and strawberry cause I don't care for chocolate.  That's cool cause it is my boys favorite.
I think that spring is in the air and Easter is just around the corner.   I am super excited because I found this man that will deliver Roman's basket Sunday morning dressed as the Easter Bunny!!!  I am thinking that it will not be much longer and he will start to question his beliefs:o(  After all, he is 7 and he rides the bus.  I think the bus is where you loose all innocence.  So, yes, I paid way too much for a creepy guy to dress up and deliver candy to my front door but I think it will be a hit.  SHHHHHHH!  Don't give away my secret:o)I am also super excited that my mom and sister will make the trip for an overnight to be here for the bunny too.  Maybe I didn't pay too much.  Anyway, we did visit the Easter Bunny last night at the mall.  I was kinda strange watching the bunny stretch its back, hmmmmm.

Thanks for stopping by.  Peace out!
